COSMIC WEATHER:

Tempers flaring big time above us now. I’m just wondering how the heck Mel Gibson got up there?

Huge chunks of sky are also dropping into our yards, landing on our begonias.

Whereas before we only had grass to mow, now we have both grass and clouds.

Plus, clouds are so much harder to see through to cut the lawn. And much more difficult to bag.

Just what will become of our lush green lawns? That’s the million dollar question!

And, how will we know where to spread the fertilizer in the fall if all these clouds are still hanging around?

It’s such a tragedy, too, that so many of the pretty, puffy, cumulus clouds, in what remains of the sky above, have been replaced with gaping black holes.

So unsightly.

Needless to say, life is rough. Isn’t it?

I imagine the next thing to go will probably be gravity.

Or, perhaps Sarah Palin.  Maybe, Lady Gaga.

It’s so much easier for the Alien Body Snatchers to grab us now.  All they have to do is reach through those giant black holes and pick us up.

All I know is, they better not try and snatch George Clooney away from us!

That would be an impossible void to fill.

Till further notice, continue with the deep breathing exercises and the melodious chanting:

‘Yes we can, yes we can..’

I promise you, we will get through this and the sky can probably be patched up in no time flat with a quick visit to Home Depot.

But, in the meantime, we need to stay banded together in Libra

But far enough away from Saturn, so he doesn’t try to get fresh with us.

We need to stay alert in our fortified hideouts from the Traffic Cops.

Who, due to the Jupiter, Mars and Pluto alignment, are showing up on our doorsteps in record numbers now.

And, painfully, in place of the Prize Patrol.

Issuing us speeding tickets, in advance.

Such zealotry!

But yet another typical byproduct of the ongoing Cardinal T-Cross, now in day 3,444 of the Julian calendar.

In the News:

Prosecutors reportedly dropped an assault case against former Vice President, Al Gore, (b. 3/31/48) over the weekend, stemming from allegations made by a masseuse in 2006 in Portland, Oregon, that Gore had “sexually assaulted her” in his hotel room.

Interestingly, Gore presently has Pluto exactly on his 3 degree Capricorn Moon and his Moon is caught up in the current Cardinal T-Cross, with it being squared by both Jupiter in Aries and Mars in Libra, and also soon both Saturn and Venus in Libra will be squaring it. Squares, too, force issues, so this is probably why this matter has come to a head now. Jupiter is also in Aries which is the sign ruling law enforcement.  Mars rules Aries, and deposited in the sign of Libra, can activate legal and court matters.

The Moon in a horoscope represents one’s feelings and emotions, women, home and family life, as well as the public.  Pluto also governs “sexual issues,” as co-ruler of Scorpio, the sign of sex. Additionally, Pluto rules death and rebirth.

Recently Gore’s home and family life  have also undergone a “death” and “transformation,” of sorts, with his announcement that he and Tipper were getting divorced after decades of marriage. Pluto conjuncting the Moon can often be a disruptive influence for home and family matters and additionally it has proven, in Gore’s case, to also be disruptive for him regarding his public image, which has taken quite a beating, in wake of those assault allegations.

Pluto additionally rules manipulation and control issues and sometimes when we have strong Pluto aspects we meet up with people who try to manipulate us, or try to control us, for their own special gains.  Not saying that this necessarily occurred here, with respect to Al Gore’s situation, but rather just speaking in general about how Pluto aspects often play out.

COSMIC WEATHER:

It’s finally the grand day of Chelsea Clinton’s “storybook wedding!” A widely heralded event that has much of the collective fixated. And, most assuredly, the proudest moment in both Bill and Hillary’s lives.

Chelsea Clinton, the sweet little Pisces girl that America and the rest of the world has lovingly watched grow up into adulthood, has now become an educated, sophisticated, and beautiful young woman, poised to unite forever with the man of her dreams, Marc Mezvinsky, a Sagittarian investment banker on Wall Street, who owns an apartment on Fifth Avenue and who also hails from political bloodlines. The two have known each other since childhood, which makes today’s occasion even more sentimental and romantic, in my opinion.

Exclusively for this celebrated gathering, Lord of Karma Saturn, which is exalted, and at its finest in matrimonial Libra, becomes a dramatic focal point in the glorious heavens with an exact, energizing conjunction from impassioned Mars, something that hasn’t happened since 1982, when Chelsea was only two years old, and well before the beaming “Father of the Bride,” Bill Clinton, became the 42nd U.S. President.

Wherever Mars travels by zodiacal sign, he accentuates the affairs ruled by that sign, and now, newly-arrived in the marriage sign of Libra, and conjoined with Wise Old Father Time Saturn, Mars has all of our eyes riveted on Chelsea’s pending union.

Also for this singular occasion, Jupiter, the planet of abundance, is in trailblazing Aries, and in exact square to Power Mogul Pluto, stationed in the prestigious, achievement-oriented sign of Capricorn the Goat, an influence that has no doubt played a central role, along with Protocol King Saturn, in social Libra, to fashion a much-ballyhooed guest list for this event that includes some of the most powerful and potent “movers and shakers” on the planet, all converging at the same point, at the same moment in time, in Rhinebeck, New York.

This influential Jupiter-Pluto aspect is also getting “A-guest-list support” today from the Exciting Aries Moon, which is tossing a harmonious trine to the very Glamorous and Regal Leo Sun, which is further helping to reportedly reign in a bevy of Hollywood stars and celebrities for the wedding, including Steven Spielberg, Barbara Walters, and Oprah. Also, the glitzy congregation is said to include the incomparable Queen of Song, my gal, Barbra Streisand.

A digressing footnote here: Barbra’s horoscope and my own natal horoscope are very similar.  Both of us are Taurus Suns, with Leo Moons conjunct lone wolf Pluto, and both of us have fiery, adventurous Aries risings. Her rising is 8 Aries, while mine is 2 Aries. I believe our personalities and senses of humor are also very similar from what I have publicly seen of her over the years in the media.  I also totally approve  of her taste in men: James Brolin! If only I could be so lucky, romantically, and had just a mere fraction of her material wealth, I know I’d be one happy camper.

Back to the wedding. Adding even more to the fanfare today, Inspirational Jupiter, which also rules religion and philosophy, is additionally conjoined now with Futuristic, Diversity Agent Uranus, deposited in Pioneering Aries. While this memorable wedding ceremony is taking place between Chelsea, who is Methodist, and Marc, who is Jewish, there will simultaneously, no doubt, continue to be a goodly number of bloggers, and others weighing in, on the matter of interfaith marriages, an issue that Mars and Saturn in Libra, is also helping once again to resurrect now, with their activating opposition to both Jupiter and Uranus. It has not been revealed whether Chelsea will follow her husband’s conservative Jewish faith.

In some ways, pitting the old, customary, Saturnian traditions against the rapidly changing, new, Uranian order of things. Even the wedding menu is largely vegetarian, and the wedding cake, reportedly gluten-free. Although, there will still be the meticulously orchestrated, majestic pageantry of the wedding itself, so dutifully safeguarded by Protocol-Minded Saturn in partnership Libra. Chelsea Clinton will most likely, too, surely look stunning in her $25,000 Vera Wang bridal gown.

COSMIC WEATHER:

Only answer the doorbell if it’s George Clooney or Domino’s Pizza. It could be, too, on this troublesome day, that George Clooney has gone to work for Domino’s Pizza in their delivery department.  Times are hard for everyone, everywhere.  But, we’ll get through this.

Charlie was charged with multiple ethics violations on Thursday.  Jupiter rules politicians and Pluto in governmental Capricorn often “steam cleans them” on the carpet, so to speak, when these two forces are aligned in the sky. Not to say that Charlie is guilty here, that’s for his peers to decide.  But, do anything wrong, especially to manipulate things in your favor, Master Spy Detective Pluto’s going to eventually find out and nail you to the cross.

COSMIC WEATHER:

We start out the day with the Moon still lingering in romantic Libra. She throws a cool trine to psychic Neptune (at 10:26 am EDT),  perfect for casting magical spells and formulating exotic love potions.  We have it in our arsenal now to attract magnificent beings to us who are anxious to respond to our every whim and desire.  Normally, this would be an ideal situation. But, unfortunately, we are plum out of breath mints and concerned that our breath may not be fresh enough, so we pass on this golden opportunity.

The Moon later enters regenerating Scorpio (at 1:43 pm EDT) at which time we become instantly preoccupied with our many wrinkles and wanting to remove them. We want our skin to regenerate and look like it did 30 years ago, so that George Clooney will perhaps feel more inspired to give us a call. Although, we are no longer holding our not-so fresh breath for George. Other fish in the sea, George.

With the Moon’s sextile to regenerating Pluto (7:56 pm EDT), we’re anxious to makeover our entire environment and not just our faces. This is a great time to de-clutter and pitch what isn’t working, with the possible exclusion of small children and spouses.

Also, the Moon-Pluto sextile opens up fresh opportunities for further developing our own personal spy networks, since Pluto, as many of you know, rules spying and espionage. This would also be a wonderful time to go to Kohl’s to check out the upcoming fall fashion trends for trench coats.

COSMIC WEATHER:

As the Moon departs “Worker Bee” Virgo for “Let’s Make Love” Libra she encounters patches of turbulence from the likes of fuddy duddy Saturn, loose cannon Uranus, inebriated Jupiter and draconian Pluto. Part of the ongoing T-Square nemesis that so many of us have grown weary of.

We keep hearing about how the Cardinal T-Square equals “Change.”

Change. Change.

All this intoxicating “change” talk. Yet at the end of the day, I still have very little “change” jingling around in my pocket. How about you?

Anyway. Kind of a bumpy, shaky, turbulent day ahead, but it could also be out of the ordinary and cool at the same time, especially if you’re into “change!”

Too, it’s probably best to steer clear of wacky, problematic people today. Which means, some of us may need to hunt up new sleeping arrangements for this evening.

In The News: The U.S. Congress passed the giant, Jupiterian “financial reform bill” Thursday, the most sweeping since the Great Depression, with fat “Banker Jupiter” in the slimmed-down, new beginnings sign of Aries exactly square to “Reformer, Regulator Pluto” in governmental Capricorn.

Capricorn also rules “chocolate brown” and cocoa prices hit an all-time, 33-year high on Thursday! Now we’ll have to start saving up even more of our “change” for chocolate.

COSMIC WEATHER:

Apart from today, we’ll have to wait another 26 years until we will have both the Moon and Saturn deposited together in the analytical sign of Virgo for the full day. Today, we have not only the Moon and Saturn in Virgo, but also the very sexy Venus and Mars. Making it an even more special day.

Also, for those new to astrology, the keywords for Virgo are “I analyze.” So we have a lot of rare analytical energy at our disposal now to figure things out for our lives. Perhaps, today is the day that we’ll be able to solve, or get keen insight into, some things that have been bugging us or derailing us for a while, so we can finally move forward.

We also know that wherever “Taskmaster Saturn” goes, is always B-I-G.  And, now Saturn is at the very end, the very last degree of Virgo.  Saturn first went into Virgo in September of 2007.

Too, with Saturn getting plenty of added support from the other planets now, before it leaves Virgo on July 21st for Libra, it could mean that we are readying ourselves for some kind of “big climatic finish” now.

Or, perhaps there is one thing in particular that the Universe maybe wants us to focus on, and figure out now, before Saturn bids analytical Virgo farewell and our mental faculties dramatically recede.

Of course, there are certainly enough serious problems and situations ongoing in the world today that demand our finest analysis and problem-solving abilities.

There is one elusive issue, however, that may be most important of all, over the long-term.  And, that is: How to get a date with actor George Clooney? Don’t you agree? It’s as if everything else pales in comparison at the end of the day, when you seriously think about it. I am almost 100% certain now that this must be the one singular issue that the Universe is hoping we solve now, especially since Venus and Mars are intimately involved and eloquently panting in the background and the perpetuation of the entire human species could be at hand.

We miss them so much already.

Those ten Russian spy agents who, for purposes of unfathomable destiny, had to leave the U.S. to go back to their native homeland, as part of that grand “Jupiter square Pluto” spy swap.

But, just as one door closes, another one always opens. So it seems.

Such is the case today, and for the next couple of days, with “Love Goddess” Venus, newly-deposited in pure, virginal Virgo, getting ready to move into a seductive, “Past Life” trine aspect to transformational, “Master Spy Agent” Pluto. Pluto is surreptitiously based in the governmental intelligence-gathering sign of Capricorn the Goat. This Venus-Pluto alliance should prove to be a very rich, singular opportunity to “platonically connect” with an undefiled, spy soulmate from our celibate Virgo past. Eventually this tie will also be able to descend into a more physical realm of connectedness, once the initial virginal karma is satisfied.

This romantic “spy soulmate-delivery” influence is also already gathering steamy karmic support today from “Cerebrally-Virile” Mars, also quietly at-large in unsuspecting Virgo.  Mars is unassumingly sextiling the “Illuminating” Sun in “Akashic-Record Keeper” Cancer.

Needless to say, due to all this heavenly, horizontal positioning, we are breathing heavy and standing by upright on high alert.  Furtively looking around our tidy, suburban neighborhood for our secretly longed for “Spy Soulmate” to magically appear.  We expect them to be outfitted in, none other, than a brand new, spiffy Kohl’s trench coat, recently purchased during Kohl’s “two-for-one” spy trench coat sale.  Perhaps it is that very sale that got the other spies busted.  We’ll never know. When does the government ever tell us anything unfiltered? That is why it is always so critically important to thoroughly debug the store boxes when you bring them home with you.

News Update 7/12: It is very interesting that with this Venus-Pluto “love of spies” energy now, we are finding out some new details about the Russian agents who were living here and were “swapped” last week, in that spy swap.  Venus-Pluto energy is “strong energy” for finding out about all that is hidden, especially “hidden agents” as Pluto rules spies.
