Astrology has been a hobby and passion of mine since childhood (the mid-1960s). I am basically self-taught in it. Much of what I have learned on the subject has been gleaned from my own firsthand observations, doing research, as well as consulting with clients and others about their charts. I especially like astrology’s connection to nature. I also appreciate that the language of astrology is a handy treasure trove of archetypal information. While astrology can be applied in various ways, I mainly use it as a tool for greater self-awareness. My background also includes a degree in psychology and certification in life-coaching; professionally, I have also worked in marketing & PR, radio, and recruiting.

hey Patricia,
my rising is Aquarius. aug 28, 1955. 7:34PM Homestead Pa.
the triple conjunction was smack on my ascendent and I still have a ways t go with Neptune. have another headache and cant sleep. Jupiter opp my mars has been tough. hugs, Heather
Just glancing at your planets in the ephemeris, you have very focused energy, with the Virgo planets conjoined and then the fixed Asc and Leo and Scorpio energies. You have grand ability for investigation. I also feel you possess ability as a healer and would be a great counselor with the strong desc and all that analytical virgo there, then Pluto’s insightful touch to boot.
Neptune now on the Asc. can be very hard for staying grounded, but at least you have the earth influences to begin with, so that should greatly help. The headache is the first house aries association perhaps. I looked at Jay Leno’s chart last week and he has a 22 degree Aquarius rising and has had Neptune, of course, there for the last couple years. Now with his jupiter return exact in his first house in pisces, he is going back to the Tonight Show..maybe some of the fog from Neptune is finally leaving him.
it was so much interresting, realy imagine
I *love your blog* thanks to twitter..t speaks to me 🙂
Thank you!
Thank you for the depth, Patrice!
I have just discovered your blog and feel like I’ve met a new friend! What a fantastic writer you are, and such an inspiration, and I love your political comments! This site is like no other astrology site! I am afraid that Susan Miller is going to the lower part of my fav’s list, and you are replacing her big time! I can’t wait to really immerse myself in more of what you think and do! Thanks so much for this gift you’re giving the world. I also try to write and help others with my acting site. So “what’s YOUR sign?!” Ha ha..l of course, am the “chatty” gemini you describe so well, and your posts about Dec. 20, 21 have helped clarify why I’m feeling so confused, halted, spacey, and oddly happy all at the same time! Thanks again!
Thank you so much! I am glad that you found my site. Tell a friend!
I am a Taurus with a Leo Moon and an Aries rising. I have Gemini in my third house of communication, with Venus and Jupiter in Gemini in the third. That’s why I’m so chatty, too!
Patrice,
I hope you keep writing your blog, I try to read i everyday and its always funny and inspiring. I truly appreciate your interpretations. For what its worth. I hope you end with that Clooney guy…there’s infinite potential for perfection, ALWAYS!!!
Blessings on your New Solar Year!!
Peace on Earth,
Chod
Thank you so much for your kind words of praise. ::blushing::
Hi Patricia,
I just discovered your blog from a google search I did on a specific day, I think Wednesday? Anyhoo, I’m thrilled to have found your blog. You’re a breath of fresh air, immensely enjoyable to read, with fantastic information. I think that my discovery of your blog is a miracle! I’m going to share you with all of my friends! I didn’t subscribe but you’re on my toolbar and I read you faithfully now every day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and in such a fun way!
Lisa
Thank you! ::very humbled:: Hope I live up to your expectations here.
Hi Patrice,
Understandably, you want to focus on new projects but I am very disappointed because I just discovered this daily astrological blog and of course, think you are wonderful!
Do you have any recommendations for those of us who want daily astrology more suited to the energies of the day? I’ve never found a column like yours and really want to continue having the daily outlook. Any suggestions? If there isn’t anything like your column out there that you know of, is there a good astrologer that does the daily sign horoscope?
Thank you in advance for your kind recommendation.
Lisa
I’ve been doing the daily forecasts for almost a year now. ElsaElsa.com does a great daily forecast. Also, I may soon begin doing some weekly forecasts, highlighting special days of the month. This would be in a more compressed fashion.
Hi Jean,
Just checking in to say thank you for continuing your column on a regular basis. I appreciate it so much. You are truly fabulous! : )
Thanks for your nice comment! I really appreciate it. I am still, however, going to be phasing the daily astrology blog out due to time constraints with my schedule. I love writing it, but I have other things that I need to pursue. In fact, I intend to discontinue the daily blog this week. I will be blogging here instead on more of the major upcoming astrology aspects and lunations.
Patrice,
Thank you for continuing to write your blog, I enjoy it very much…!!
peace.

I enjoy reading your posts. As a Numerologist, I find much of the information derived from Astrology dove-tails with what I get from the numbers. Interesting how the universe works and how it provides information. I am barely one degree into Scorpio, born right smack dab on the cust of Libra. I find cusp people to be interesting, as they blend the sometimes conflicting traits of two signs. But I do of course know that mere knowledge of one’s sun sign tells the story only in very broad strokes.. I’ve had a full chart and interpretation drawn up by Astrologer Elliott Tanzer and it was right on the mark. As for me, I’ll leave Astrology to you experts… I know only enough about it to be truly dangerous! 😉
Best wishes!
Thanks for your comments! Astrology and numerology are very interrelated. I really think of astrology, in many ways, as expanded numerology. I have often thought of including some numerology into my daily forecasts, but just haven’t done so yet.
That’s interesting! I was under the imnpression that one was likely to be drawn to one or the other. In fact, in the Astrological chart Elliott Tanzer drew up for me, he aluded to an aspect that would incline me to an interest in and attraction to numbers, whereas his own chart, by contrast, had an aspect that made him more likely to be attracted to Astrology! His two hour plus reading/interpretation was spot on, as I said. He was even able to do an accurate chart for my husband without exact time of birth (we knew within about two hours, and he was able to extrapolate the likely time of birth by narrowing down the possibilities, offering up characteristics he would have if it were this rather than that. That too proved a fabulous and very accurate reading.
I was taught Numerology by my good friend and mentor, the late Matthew Oliver Goodwin. I’ve been a practicing Numerologists for over 30 years now, and it never fails to amaze me how accurate the information is! Astrology always seemed far more complicated and I’m one who is drawn to the most direct and simple methods possible! As I said, I will leave Astrology to those of you who have dedicated yourselves to its study. Thank you for the good work you do!
I love numerology and use it all the time. I also love dream interpretation and feng shui.
Hi, just stumbled on your blog. I’m a self-taught astrologer, but also use numerology with the planets and birth date.
For instance, through a lot of research I have found that just checking the DAY the person was born will yield clues to the energy, or actual planets or signs, that are largely present. So if a person was born on the 9th, I would assume that they have Mars energy, and I usually will find Mars heavily aspected or in a T square or ASC position. Or they may have Aries or first house emphasis. But really, I have definitely found that the planet indicated by the number has a great influence in the chart.
For me, I have Saturn on Sun and was born on the 17th (1+7=8) an 8, Saturn’s number. Try it and see what you find. I’m always amazed at the correllation.
Although I don’t write about it here, I am a proponent of numerology and feel that is very supportive to astrology. BTW, I have always regarded the number 5 as more martian in nature and 9 as more uranian.
Hi Patricia,
Do you know much about the chakras? I love your blog and would love for you to check out mine (on the chakras and other yoga-oriented stuff).
I am 49, and chakra-wise, I can feel the return to my 1st chakra coming back (the end of my 7 seven-year cycles). I feel like there might be a new beginning of some sort coming — or it just feels like a big shift is coming… I’m Feb 27, 1963 (5:07 am EST). Does anything stand out for you astrologically?
Let me know if you’d like to try some of my beautiful healing chakra tattoos. I’d gladly send you some as my gift.
You can read about them here: http://www.chakraboosters.com/chakra-boosters-healing-tattoos
Thanks and blessings,
Vicki
You have a cool site! I really just know the basics about chakras. The chaktra tattoo concept certainly is unique, tho – at least to me! I wish you much success with your work.
t this time, I am not doing any astrological work for individuals, so I can’t help you with your inquiry, but hopefully bright things are right around the corner for you.
Thanks for the compliment on my site — and keep up your beautiful work! 🙂
Patrice, I just discovered you and you are leaving!!! I found your 12/26 through 12/20 spot on! My father died on 12/29 and i spent the 26th and 27th with him nursing him…it was very healing. Pluto and Saturn were a big part of our relationship…Do you do charts for the upcoming year? My middle name is Patrice and this is where Tricia comes from…I hope to join your blog so i can continue to read you…how do i do this?
Thank you,
Tricia 6/26/50 at 10:30 a.m. a double 11 with sun conjunct uranus
Hi, Tricia
So sorry to hear about the loss of your Father. You have my deepest sympathy.
You may subscribe to my blog by scrolling down on the column on the far right and clicking on the subscribe button.
At present, I do not do astrological charts for the coming year for clients. I prefer to only do life coaching with my clients. I do incorporate astrology into the coaching, if that is what a client wants, but as a coach, I do not give advice, which is often what clients seeking astrology mainly want.
