COSMIC WEATHER:
Moon leaves Communicative Gemini for Homebody Cancer (5:50 pm EDT) activating a rare, historic, Cardinal Grand Cross in the sky. Connection Queen, Venus, leaves Virginal Virgo for Romantic Libra (11:48 pm EDT), assuming a place at the Grand Cross table as well. Eccentric Uranus is eyeballing perfectly coiffed Venus from across the table and smiling at her with spinach in his teeth. Ugh!!!

Then we also remember that it’s the night of the Cardinal Grand Square activation, with weird things most likely happening on the home front. This is partly because Venus has that perfunctory, annual, “opposition date” with Quirky Uranus.
Whenever Venus gets with Uranus, her behavior becomes terribly erratic and her inhibitions fly out the window.
We don’t even want to begin to know what those two could be up to downstairs.
Done that. Been there before. Although I personally can’t recall which decade.
So we put on ear plugs and try to fall back to sleep.
Praying that George Clooney will reappear with us, one more time, under the bed sheets.
To protect us from the harsh, cruel world, and the likes of the volatile Cardinal Square, now reaching a climactic pitch – at least downstairs!
The United States Senate Thursday confirmed the nomination of Elena Kagan as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. She will be sworn into office in a few days and, I believe, seated on the court in October.
Kagan (b. 4/28/60) is a pragmatic Taurus with a lighthearted, humorous Gemini Moon. She also has her Mental Mercury in independent thinking Aries trine her Uranus in Leo, giving her excellent originality in her thought processes, as well as drama, wit, and spontaneity. Her Mercury is also square to serious Saturn in cautious Capricorn, good for adding depth and concentration to her mental abilities.
Right now, Kagan has transforming Pluto sitting smack on her 3 degree Jupiter in governmental Capricorn, with Jupiter symbolically ruling judges. This will be Elena’s first experience as a judge, but something that her horoscope shows great potential aptitude for. Pluto is also exactly trining her natal Pluto at 3 degrees of employment Virgo, good for turning over a new leaf, career-wise.
Kagan’s confirmation to the Supreme Court comes just as Mars and Saturn, and later today, Venus, occupy the sign of matrimonial Libra which also rules justice and the courts. All three planets are caught in the crossfire of the Cardinal T-Square, a time of big changes for the collective, with many of those changes having long-term consequences. Also, on Wednesday, a federal judge overturned the same sex marriage ban in California. That matter may eventually end up in the Supreme Court with Elena Kagan one of the judges deciding whether gays should have a right to constitutionally marry in the U.S.
Kagan’s addition to the Supreme Court is precedent-setting as well as it marks the first time in history that three women have served on the Court at the same time. Kagan is also only the fourth woman ever to be nominated to the Supreme Court. Way to go, Elena! Congratulations!

You may want to put steel plates in front of all the windows before you go to bed tonight, and sleep in combat fatigues in the bomb shelter in the basement. Just a precaution with the Cancer Moon in the volatile Cardinal Grand Square and Venus on that wild date with Uranus.
Also, don’t even think about getting fresh with George Clooney in your sleep tonight. If you do, you’ll regret it, and feel guilty as all get out when Uranus leaves Venus Saturday morning and Venus lands on Saturn’s judgmental lap on Saturday night.

We’re still in the clutches of the Cardinal T-Cross involving the usual suspects.
At this point, I’m thinking therapy, professional therapy is needed to deal with the maze of heavyweight issues we’re grappling with. Including the colossal issue of the falling sky and the matter of the continuing clouds camping out in our backyards, that are impeding our heroic attempts to meticulously mow and edge our lawns.
I actually mowed the grass a little while ago, but it just about killed me to do it, and I’m still shaking like a leaf. I never realized how traumatic poor visibility can be when you’re trying to mow the lawn with a frickin’ cloud in your face, and the dogs are barking, and fur is flying all around.
With the Moon’s entrance into communicative Gemini today (12:54 pm EDT), I’m thinking that we may first want to start out with “Talk Therapy,” for a couple days, instead of anything more invasive. Then, if that fails us, we will probably have no choice but to embark on the more invasive treatments such as electric-shock or lobotomies. But let’s hope that it doesn’t come to those more drastic measures.
One other dire issue that needs to be dealt with today is the matter of Love Goddess Venus near the end of Virginal Virgo. She’s in a complicated quinqunx relationship with Deceptive, Trickster Neptune. This sort of relationship is always sick and doomed and ego-denying and can only result in Venus being seriously lied to, which could have the net affect of ultimately putting her virginity at risk. And we don’t want that to happen. Ever.
Too, because of the expected fallout from this Venus-Neptune aspect, all of us are severely at risk now in our personal love relationships for approximately the next 24 to 48 hours. We need to be very careful that we are not deceiving ourselves or being deceived by others. Even by George Clooney, which is a real shame. Breaks my heart, George.

News Update: Crap! Things are much, much worse than I originally thought and predicted yesterday regarding the sky falling and the corresponding gaping black holes. Have you heard the latest? Now, apparently, the Sun is also exploding in the sky, at a rapid rate, and will be falling to Earth today and tomorrow!!!
So, now, we not only have the blue sky and clouds descending in our backyards, but also big chunks of the red hot burning Sun!!! I can only imagine what the Sun will do to our lawns! It will be the final straw, I’m sure of it!!!
Now all grass, everywhere, frickin’ everywhere, will have that God-awful, tinged brown, burnout look to it!

Tempers flaring big time above us now. I’m just wondering how the heck Mel Gibson got up there?
Huge chunks of sky are also dropping into our yards, landing on our begonias.
Whereas before we only had grass to mow, now we have both grass and clouds.
Plus, clouds are so much harder to see through to cut the lawn. And much more difficult to bag.
Just what will become of our lush green lawns? That’s the million dollar question!
And, how will we know where to spread the fertilizer in the fall if all these clouds are still hanging around?
It’s such a tragedy, too, that so many of the pretty, puffy, cumulus clouds, in what remains of the sky above, have been replaced with gaping black holes.
So unsightly.
Needless to say, life is rough. Isn’t it?
I imagine the next thing to go will probably be gravity.
Or, perhaps Sarah Palin. Maybe, Lady Gaga.
It’s so much easier for the Alien Body Snatchers to grab us now. All they have to do is reach through those giant black holes and pick us up.
All I know is, they better not try and snatch George Clooney away from us!
That would be an impossible void to fill.
Till further notice, continue with the deep breathing exercises and the melodious chanting:

I promise you, we will get through this and the sky can probably be patched up in no time flat with a quick visit to Home Depot.

Prosecutors reportedly dropped an assault case against former Vice President, Al Gore, (b. 3/31/48) over the weekend, stemming from allegations made by a masseuse in 2006 in Portland, Oregon, that Gore had “sexually assaulted her” in his hotel room.
Interestingly, Gore presently has Pluto exactly on his 3 degree Capricorn Moon and his Moon is caught up in the current Cardinal T-Cross, with it being squared by both Jupiter in Aries and Mars in Libra, and also soon both Saturn and Venus in Libra will be squaring it. Squares, too, force issues, so this is probably why this matter has come to a head now. Jupiter is also in Aries which is the sign ruling law enforcement. Mars rules Aries, and deposited in the sign of Libra, can activate legal and court matters.
The Moon in a horoscope represents one’s feelings and emotions, women, home and family life, as well as the public. Pluto also governs “sexual issues,” as co-ruler of Scorpio, the sign of sex. Additionally, Pluto rules death and rebirth.
Recently Gore’s home and family life have also undergone a “death” and “transformation,” of sorts, with his announcement that he and Tipper were getting divorced after decades of marriage. Pluto conjuncting the Moon can often be a disruptive influence for home and family matters and additionally it has proven, in Gore’s case, to also be disruptive for him regarding his public image, which has taken quite a beating, in wake of those assault allegations.
Pluto additionally rules manipulation and control issues and sometimes when we have strong Pluto aspects we meet up with people who try to manipulate us, or try to control us, for their own special gains. Not saying that this necessarily occurred here, with respect to Al Gore’s situation, but rather just speaking in general about how Pluto aspects often play out.
