COSMIC WATCH:

With the Moon still nestled in “inquisitive” Gemini, gathering and disseminating information is a breeze for us now.  Although, with intellectual Mercury squaring “probing” Pluto (10:51 am EDT), the ruler of our subconscious, we are also more reluctant to simply take things at face value. All in all, it is probably a great day to play detective, or to dig beneath the surface.

BTW, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, had his natal Mercury closely conjunct investigative Pluto in his “behind the scenes” twelfth house, a part of our horoscopes that also figures in prominently with our imagination and karma. “Any truth is better than indefinite doubt.” Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Romantic and business relationships have a chance to solidify today and we may also feel that our hopes and wishes are finally achievable as love goddess, Venus, forms a flowing, creative trine with stabilizing Saturn and also a conjunction with dreamy, idealistic Neptune. Intellectual Mercury is also making its annual conjunction with probing Pluto helping to intensify and focus our thinking. With the Moon encapsuled in “probing” Scorpio, we go swimming in deeper waters today, carrying with us the firm conviction that sunken treasures inevitably await us, if only we are earnest enough to ferret them out. The Scorpio Moon passionately revels in sharing her most intimate secrets with us as a seductive pathway to our rejuvenation. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we are systemically freed by embracing the truth, wherever we may find it. The Moon remains in logical, analytical Virgo, setting the tone for thinker Mercury’s opposition to judgmental Saturn (9:55 am EDT). This is definitely a day when we will want to be well-prepared and organized in our responses. Otherwise we tend to suffer the consequences, especially from higher-ups and authority figures (Saturn) who may be inclined to find fault (Saturn) with us for not doing our due diligence.  The Virgo Moon can be a stickler for detail and Mercury-Saturn can be very serious and exacting. In general, this aspect tends to impart more of a sobering outlook.

On the plus side with this influence, we have a great opportunity to deepen our perception and probe matters with expert clarity, particularly since we also have the Moon in discriminating Virgo. Overall, a great day for research and for making serious assessments.
