Cosmic Weather:

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” J.K. Rowlings

We start out our Monday with the waning Moon ensconced in optimistic Sagittarius, obviously doing her best to get us inspired for the new week ahead.

Visionary Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. It’s also the planet that governs the growth process in the body. When we’re inspired or have something to look forward to, that’s really how we stay creatively engaged in life and keep our precious life force energy flowing vibrantly inside us. Interestingly too, Jupiter symbolizes the arterial blood, which carries oxygen and nutrients away from the heart, the ruling center of our whole being, to the billions of tissues in our body.

Today is also the first full day for Mars in Capricorn, the sign of its exaltation. Mars in Saturn-ruled Capricorn can help us to become more measured or focused in the actions that we take, often allowing us to realize our goals with less energy, which is always a good thing as who among us doesn’t want to be able to do more, with less. Too, it appears we’re in extra good company now as genius Albert Einstein also had his natal Mars in Capricorn. Of course, whether that automatically means that we’ll finally be able to figure out the cryptic meaning of E = mc2  probably remains doubtful, especially with intellectual Mercury now retrograde in spacey Pisces. 🙂

Tarot Card For The Day: The Eight of Cups, which represents walking away from something in contemplation for a new beginning.

Numerology For The Day: The number ’17’ suggests deep resolve, determination, and the ability to plow through obstacles.

Born On This Day: Basketball legend Michael Jordan, who’s turning 57 today.

“One day, you might look up and see me playing the game at 50. Don’t laugh. Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.” – MJ

Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology February 15, 2020: The Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio

Cosmic Weather:

“The emotion that can break your heart is sometimes the very one that heals it…” Nicholas Sparks.

The Last Quarter Moon in intense Scorpio takes center-stage today (at 5:17 pm). This lunar phase could highlight or underscore for us where we may be overly invested emotionally, or where we may be holding on too tightly (to the past), and how that more rigid-like stance could be undermining the positive growth that we’ve intended or envisioned for ourselves (Sun in Aquarius).

Fortunately, shortly after the LQM occurs Luna also sextiles Saturn (at 5:20 pm), which should give us an ability to capitalize on our past experiences with respect to managing any present issues; Moon-Saturn tends to be more stabilizing for the emotions. It’s also good energy for working out home or family concerns.

This is also the last full day that assertive Mars will be in adventurous Sagittarius so there could be a final, last-minute push or desire to chase our dreams, stretch our horizons. On a collective level, we could also possibly see pivotal developments in the legal arena, such as important trials coming to an end.

*All times EST

Tarot Card For The Day: The Three of Pentacles, which suggests that we are well on our way towards self-mastery or perfecting a craft or skill, but that there’s also still much work to be done and that we need to continue to apply ourselves diligently to the tasks before us. This card can also represent the need for group involvement or for working in conjunction with others.

Numerology for 2-15-2020: Being the 15th day of the month (which reduces down to a Venus-ruled six) there can be a stepped-up desire for social involvement or engagement in artistic pursuits as well as a special flair for dealing with people in general. There’s also possibly enhanced ability for honing in on our business interests. Too, we are exactly at the midway mark of February and this fact alone could also motivate us to keep wanting to methodically plug along to a successful conclusion of things, assuming we have already invested a great deal of our time and talent to make a go of certain things.

On This Day in History: On February 15, 1879, the US Congress authorizes women lawyers to practice before the Supreme Court.

In the heavens, that day, the power-enhancing Sun, analytical orator Mercury and high-minded Jupiter were deposited in equality-oriented Aquarius. The Sun/Mercury midpoint was also exactly conjunct expansive Jupiter, suggesting perhaps a wider arena or platform for expressing powerful (Sun) thoughts and ideas (Mercury) of a more legal/ethical/philosophical nature (Jupiter). The Moon, symbolizing women, was also in diversity welcoming Sagittarius, the Jupiter-ruled sign that formally governs the law and courts. (Libra, the Scales, also deals with issues of justice or fairness.)

Born On This Day: Galileo Galilei, in 1564, an Italian astronomer, physicist, and engineer who has been called the father of science (d. 1642).

Galileo had Mercury exactly conjunct Pluto in his chart often an indicator of strong powers of observation. He also had Saturn, the planet that rules science, in a tight conjunction with abundant Jupiter.

A quote by Galileo: “The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependent on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do.”

Hope it’s a good one!

Cosmic Weather:

“Friends don’t spy; true friendship is about privacy, too.” Stephen King

With Luna fully submerged in secretive Scorpio all day, we should be cosmically cleared to “claim the fifth” now without invoking too much pushback from the gods. 🙂

This is also a good day for coming to deeper intellectual realizations about what’s perhaps fueling some of our passions or desires or driving our emotions (Moon trine Mercury). Too, indulging in this sort of inner reflection could potentially trigger within us a sense of growing optimism about the future (Moon sextile Jupiter) and hopefully confirming for us that, yes, we’re on the right track!

Another benefit of the Moon-Jupiter meetup (at 11:52 pm) is that it can add a nice degree of emotional warmth/emotional acceptance to our persona, ideally helping us to confidently connect or mingle with others in a positive, more supportive way.

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: The Emperor, which fits in nicely with the more controlling or authoritative Scorpio Moon archetype. The Emperor card suggests that “we’ve got this,” that we’re ready to show the world that we’re in charge now and able to deftly whip out our ‘A’ game, if need be.

Today’s Numerology for February 14: There’s a quirky (Aquarian), restless (Mercury) vibe to 2-14 which can manifest in intellectual brilliance or sarcastic wit. Also, there’s more of a desire for personal freedom yet also the ability to be part of a progressive team.

This Day in History: On February 14, 1747, astronomer James Bradley presented his discovery of the wobbling motion of the Earth on its axis to the Royal Society in London.

In the heavens that day, communicator Mercury was conjunct breakthrough Uranus in innovative Aquarius (also the zodiacal sign which rules science and astronomy). Both planets were also square to pioneering Mars in investigative Scorpio.

Born On This Day: Frederick Douglass, in 1818 (d. 1895) an African American abolitionist, lecturer, and editor who was also an escaped slave. Douglass once wrote: If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology January 31, 2020: Wrapping Things Up With The Aries Moon

Cosmic Weather:

“Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone.” Lin Yu Tang

Hopefully, if we smile right and hold our head up, the right way, we’ll be able to make some steady progress today and wrap up the first month of the new year on a high note! 🙂

The Moon is also deposited in “eager-beaver” Aries all day, until mid-evening, so we should be able to put our finishing touches on everything without expressing too much angst – even though Luna does square dramatic Pluto (6:11 am) and restrictive Saturn (9:24 am), which can, perhaps, temporarily immerse us into the more onerous side of our duties or obligations, although the Aries Moon does like a good challenge and is always determined to come out the victor. Too, we’re definitely not walking around with blinders on; we know or sense a lot is at stake for us now (the activation, once again, of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction).

Fortunately, the Moon in Aries also sextiles communicator Mercury (10:10 am), which should help us to articulate exactly what we’re feeling. Too, with Mercury in innovative Aquarius, the sign of its exaltation, it’s likely that we’re able to put forward futuristic ideas or thoughts now, including possibly having some riveting conversations or discourses that personally feel very liberating to us. You know, the kind of passionate exchanges in which we think we’re suddenly able to solve many of the world’s woes as a result of our unique, fresh perceptions. The Moon-Mercury sextile is also the last aspect that Luna makes before she goes void-of-course, so the impact of this aspect will be felt longer than usual.

Meanwhile, Luna will enter deliberate Taurus at 7:28 pm, a locale that she’ll be hanging out in, all weekend.

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: The King of Pentacles. This card represents someone who is enterprising, practical, and resourceful. There’s also a certain degree of pride or contentment here with respect to what has been achieved. (It’s kind of like we’re reviewing January, and plucking from it, the many fruits of our labors.)

Numerology For 1-31-2020: “Thirty-one” is a very strong foundational number suggesting that what we build now will endure. While there’s also presently a need to act in a very methodical way that enhances our security, there’s also an accompanying, very creative vibe to the day, that we’re also able to tap into.

Born On This Day: Thomas Merton, the French-American Catholic writer and Trappist monk, in 1915 (d. 1968). Merton once wrote: “The beginning of love is the will to let those we love be perfectly themselves, the resolution not to twist them to fit our own image.”

Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology January 27, 2020: Venus Conjuncts Dreamy Neptune

Cosmic Weather:

“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” William Shakespeare

We start out our Monday with waxing Luna still afloat in the mystical waters of Pisces, decidedly adding an “otherworld” feel to the day. Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, is also having its annual conjunction with Venus (ruler of love, beauty, art, and values), an alignment that’s occurring at 16 degrees of Pisces (at 3:00 pm).

With sweet Venus and transpersonal Neptune conjoined in the heavens, our capacity to display compassion or to show kindness or forgiveness to others is potentially enhanced. There can also be a deep yearning for an ideal or more selfless kind of love, as well as more of a general willingness to see others now in the best possible light, or to at least give them, the benefit of the doubt. On the shadow side, this influence can also make us more emotionally vulnerable, which could lead to, among other things, our being taken advantage of or deceived (including falling prey to self-deception).

On another level, Venus-Neptune energy is excellent for any creative endeavors, largely because “visionary” Neptune, the ruler of our imagination, is able to naturally tune into the non-physical realm with ease, thereby allowing artistic Venus to transmute that experience into actual physical form. “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Michelangelo

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day:

It’s “The Lovers” card, which often comes up when we have choices to make about our relationships. Too, sometimes when this card appears, there’s an element of self-sacrifice (Neptune) attached to those choices. In general, The Lovers suggests a desire to want to be involved in either a relationship or something else that is meaningful, that allows a person a chance to get outside of themselves, to connect to something larger.

Also, when I was shuffling the cards, “The World” card fell out of the deck twice, along with the Ace of Swords. The World card is the very last of the Major Arcana cards (in the Tarot) and signifies the ending of a cycle. It also represents kind of a “pause period” before significant new action is undertaken. The World card can also foster an acceptance of life as it is, with all its many ups and downs. The Ace of Swords also suggests that we have good mental clarity at our disposal today (Mercury in Aquarius), as well as potential receptivity to incorporating, advancing, or entertaining new ideas.

Numerology For The Day:

The “27th” day of January suggests a focus on humanitarian issues, compassion, as well as a capacity to extend tolerance towards those who hold beliefs perhaps different from our own. (Moon in Pisces).

Born On This Day: Musician and composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, in 1756 (d. in 1791). Mozart is quoted as saying: Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.

Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology January 26, 2020: Venus Squares Mars – Yin Versus Yang Energy

Cosmic Weather:

“Peace is not an easy prospect–it requires greater bravery than does conflict.” Ozzie Zehner

With Venus (desires) and Mars (actions) “squaring off” with each other today, it may be more of a challenge now to “lasso-in” what we want without creating some sort of potential conflict for ourselves. It could be, perhaps, that our timing is off. Or, that we’re simply pushing too hard (applying too much “yang” energy) and maybe just need to back off (assume a receptive “yin” stance). In traditional astrology, Venus square Mars is often depicted as the “Battle of the Sexes.”

Mars in Sagittarius, too, can make us more prone to “venting our beliefs,” which could naturally invite some pushback from others, depending, in part, on how we choose to conduct or express ourselves. Sometimes, how we say something is also even more important than what we say.

In the relationship sphere, too, being more cooperative might be a positive way to “save the day,” in the event that we hit upon a few snags. Especially with Venus in dreamy Pisces now, which is always searching for “ideal” or “unconditional” love and is not too thrilled with confrontation.

At any rate, the Venus-Mars square can greatly invoke our passions and desires, making us feel very vital (and sexy). It can also galvanize our creative juices.

Meanwhile, the waxing Moon is also wrapping up her stay in “individualistic” Aquarius today, shifting into “transcendental” Pisces, early this evening. Ideally, this helps us to disengage our galactic-sized egos a tad, so we can hopefully play nice with each other – at least for a while!

(Venus in Pisces squares Mars in Sagittarius, at 8:36 pm)

(Moon enters Pisces, at 6:44 pm)

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: “The Star” card, which suggests that there’s a ray of hope on the horizon after a period of turmoil. Inwardly, we may also be feeling more self-confident and more at ease just being ourselves now. The “Six of Wands” card also fell out of the deck twice, while I was shuffling, signifying that we may possibly be honored for our past efforts now. This recognition may also motivate us to want to do more of the same, in the future. It’s always interesting to observe, too, how one thing (one action), often leads to another. And yet another. How we’re always, seemingly, peeling back more layers of the proverbial onion, which also, quite perplexingly, never seems to shrink in size! 🙂

“The applause was so loud and insistent that I had to respond with several encores. I was numb with happiness, when it was over, I knew that this alone must be my life and my world.” Leni Riefenstahl

Born On This Day: Comedian Ellen DeGeneres, who’s turning 62 today. Ellen’s quoted as saying: Procrastinate now, don’t put it off.

Astrology January 16, 2020: Mercury Enters “Progressive” Aquarius

Cosmic Weather:

“A man’s mind is stretched by a new idea or sensation, and never shrinks back to its former dimensions.” Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.

Intellectual Mercury (governing our reasoning abilities, logic, and communication) enters “progressive” Aquarius today (at 1:31 pm), the sign of its exaltation. Hopefully, this bodes well for our humble mental faculties, in the weeks ahead. Mercury in Aquarius (a sign associated with equality, change, and innovation) is synonymous with a strong desire for learning and knowledge, embracing new ideas, pondering more abstract matters or things of a more technical nature. In communication with others now, we’re also possibly more at home in the Devil’s Advocate role. Mercury will remain in Aquarius until February 3rd; however, due to an upcoming retrograde cycle, Mercury will also re-enter Aquarius, the first half of March, for a period of a few days.

The waning Moon is also in “harmony-seeking” Libra, all day. It’s also having a lopsided meet up with “ambiguous” Neptune in “master-of-disguise” Pisces, early this afternoon (Moon quinqunx Neptune at 2:36 pm), so it may be a little challenging for us to know how to get a firm grip on what’s really going on around us now. Kind of a like we’re a guest or participant at a lavish Masquerade Ball.

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: The Page of Swords, which cautions us not to jump to conclusions or to act too rashly.

Numerology For January 16: As we move into the second half of January, we’re sort of at a natural reflection point now, perhaps wanting to assess the impact, to date, of many of our ambitious “power moves” that we have so far undertaken during the first two weeks of a brand new year. The number 16 (which reduces down to the number 7) suggests that it’s time now for temporarily copping a more philosophical or spiritual orientation to our affairs. The number 7 archetypally represents “The Mystic.”

Born On This Day: English model and businesswoman Kate Moss, who’s turning 46. Moss is quoted as saying: Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology January 15, 2020: Venus Sextiles Uranus – There’s More To It Than Just Lipstick

Cosmic Weather:

“Don’t let your special character and values, the secret that you know and no one else does, the truth – don’t let that get swallowed up by the great chewing complacency.” Aesop

We’re almost done working our poor, little ole’ fingers to the bone, as Luna will be exiting “fussbudget” Virgo, mid-morning, for “let’s live it up in style at the Queen’s expense” Libra (at 10:43 am).

We also have the super cool, bohemian-style “Venus-Uranus sextile” aspect becoming exact, early this evening (6:17 pm). Sweet Venus (governing beauty, love, money, and values) just shifted into “the world of illusion” territory of Pisces the Mermaid, a couple days ago, and in addition to spending considerable time perusing the cosmetics department at Macy’s Department Store, she’s also just scheduled her long-awaited “angel wings fitting,” in a further bid to flee the clutches of Saturn and Pluto, still joined at the hip in stuffy old Capricorn, now also the official sign of presidential impeachments.

Of course, Venus is also duly preparing herself today for what “non-conforming” Uranus in hedonistic Taurus is probably going to say to her when they do finally meet up tonight for a beer and a burger. She’s almost certain he’ll say something flippant like “There’s more to life than just lipstick, Venus!” The truth is, Uranus hasn’t even seen the latest shades of red lipstick available now – which is “the color” for 2020 – despite the fact that he’s supposedly, always, living on the “cutting-edge” of everything.

Anyway, Venus plans on bringing with her, tonight, plenty of compelling, nerdy documentation for Uranus (it’ll be right up his alley!), thoroughly detailing the overarching psychological significance of the profound role that lipstick has been found to play in a modern woman’s daily life so that, in the end, Uranus will no longer be able to gloss over or dismiss all the facts quite so smugly! She may even seal the deal with a kiss – but only if he lets her get “lipstick on his collar” as unmitigated proof that she knows 100% what she’s talking about, and that he’s all full of beans! 🙂

Seriously… the “Venus-Uranus” aspect today is really a neat thing for us to be privy to now. There’s a very liberating vibe to it, especially for relationships (but also for creativity), as it can incline us to want to be more fully our “true selves,” with all of our blemishes or flaws quirkily on display. We’re also more open to at least the idea of some measure of social experimentation now, including possibly becoming more tolerant of one another’s’ differences or perhaps more amenable to willing to hang out with types of people that we normally might not associate with. Venus-Uranus aspects can also occasionally spawn sudden, “very electrifying” type relationship pairings ( for instance, Paul McCartney and John Lennon first met each other when Venus and Uranus were exactly conjunct in entertainment Leo).

With change-agent Uranus also scheming around in “certificates of deposit” Taurus, (a sign which Venus also rules), there’s also a chance that we may be more willing now to embrace or at least entertain new ideas or strategies for dealing with financial or investment issues. Today, too, we also have the official signing of the US and China Trade Agreement (“Phase One” of it), a matter that has been in the works now for nearly two years, between the two countries. Reportedly, this agreement also contains new protections (with enforcement power) for intellectual property matters (a domain of high-tech Uranus) as well as restraints on currency manipulations (Taurus).

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: The Eight of Cups, signaling completion. This card also suggests that there’s an old emotional situation that is left behind today and that we’re also ready for something new, but still not quite sure exactly what that is yet.

Numerology For The Day:  The number “15” suggests we need to strike a balance now between work and rest. Fifteen also reduces down to the number “6” which is a number of harmony, positive social and business dealings, and artistic potential. It’s a number that can get the “first month of the new year,” off to a solid, promising start.

Born On This Day: Joan of Arc, in 1412, Roman Catholic Saint and national heroine of France (d. 1431). Joan of Arc is quoted as saying: “I was admonished to adopt feminine clothes; I refused, and still refuse. As for other avocations of women, there are plenty of other women to perform them.”

Hope it’s a good one!

Astrology January 14, 2020: The Virgo Moon Suggests a “Bite-size” Strategy

Cosmic Weather:

“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” Confucius

Today could seem just ‘a bit too much’ for us. Especially if we, perhaps, take more of a big picture view of things and focus mainly on our highest aspirations (Mars in Sagittarius), which may be a tad too large for us to realistically manifest, at this moment in time, without invoking a whole host of other complicating factors to have to deal with. And, we certainly don’t want to force things now (Mars semisquare Pluto) as that strategy is also more likely to backfire.

Thankfully, though, Luna is still in ‘bite-size’ Virgo, which should really help us to bring everything down to a fairly manageable scale. By concentrating on such things as quality control and maybe eliminating excesses or redundancies, it’s entirely possible that we could end the day with more than a few feathers in our cap (Moon trining the notorious ‘Saturn-Pluto conjunction’).

The purifying Virgo Moon is also always a positive time to pay attention to health and dietary matters, with an eye to correcting or re-balancing what’s amiss in the body or awry with our daily practices or habits.

*All times EST.

Tarot Card For The Day: The Two of Pentacles, which suggests a “juggling-act” feel to the day.

Numerology: With it being the “14th” day of the month (which reduces down to a 5), suggesting there’s also potentially more of a natural restlessness to the energy now. At the same time, this is probably a good day to learn how to ‘bend with the wind.’ Too, when we consider that we are in the middle of January already, a “one” month, it’s entirely understandable that we may now be feeling a little bit antsy about things, wondering if we’re really ever going to be able to “pull everything off,” in the future.

Born On This Day: Andy Rooney, in 1919 (d. in 2011), an American radio and TV writer best known for his weekly broadcast “A Few Minutes With Andy Rooney” on the television program 60 Minutes. Rooney once said: The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.

Cosmic Weather:

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” Rumi

You know, our lives would probably be a whole lot easier and run much more smoothly if the only kind of change that we ever had to grapple with, or anguish over, was the “pocket change” variety, as in dealing with real coins that jingle. Of course, that realm is really no longer even a psychological “safe haven” for us anymore with the confusing arrival of Bitcoins, which, if I didn’t know any better, would likely assume was some kind of sugary cereal, kind of like Lucky Charms.

Anyway, yesterday, we finally experienced the exact occurrence of the “Saturn-Pluto” conjunction and we witnessed, among other things, at least on a collective level, a lot of geopolitical tensions/unrest/government-rulership changes, including the widely publicized protests by the people of Iran to the tragic, accidental shooting down of that passenger jetliner, reportedly by the Iranian government, a few days ago in Tehran (an act which also occurred when aviation-ruling Uranus was stationing direct).

There was also the dramatic eruption of the Taal Volcano in southern Luzon in the Philippines, which is still ongoing, spewing forth toxic ash plumes and forcing immediate evacuations in the surrounding region (Pluto rules volcanoes). Our heart goes out to all those who are suffering hardships or enduring adversities now.

Today, the illuminating Sun in self-mastery Capricorn is also “re-activating” that Saturn-Pluto conjunction, first forming its annual conjunction with transformational Pluto (at 8:21 am) and then doing the same with organizing Saturn (at 10:15 am).

In a nutshell, perhaps this means that we’ll likely be needing to put on our engineering hardhats and plop ourselves down behind the drawing board now, at least for a spell, so we can do some conscious creative redesigning (Pluto) of our world (Saturn), as we know it. Make it more vital and true-to-form for us in 2020 and beyond.

While there may be some initial reluctance or hesitancy to do this sort of thing, we also likely sense that taking this kind of firm (Saturnian) action, at the moment, is probably in our best interests, especially if we’ve been feeling some degree of stagnation or lack of meaning because our lives have maybe become too predictable.

On the other hand, it could be that we are forced to make changes now because what we’ve been doing is no longer working for us, maybe simply because our situations or circumstances have changed. In some cases, too, we may be experiencing a positive consolidation of our power and are seeking now to exert more control over our lives.

Whatever the scenario, “extreme makeover guru” Pluto doesn’t appear to want us to really rest or chill out until all the creation/destruction/rebirth that he has in mind for us, has been fully executed, as he’s trying his best to, seemingly, take us to the next level! Of course, we must always keep in mind the simple fact that we always have the final sayso, in the end, depending on how we choose to respond.

Fortunately for us, too, sweet Venus (the goddess of love, beauty, and harmony) – which is presently in detached, high-tech Aquarius – is also working very busily, and unsuspectedly, behind the scenes now, plotting her “great escape” from all this intense, high drama. If all goes right, she will be fleeing into the healing, engulfing, soothing waters of Pisces, early this afternoon (at 1:39 pm) but we must not tell a single soul, less we foil her plot. It’s a good thing, too, that the Moon is exiting bombastic Leo for magnifying glass Virgo, this morning (9:06 am), as this should give her plenty of time to refine or perfect all the details of her pending adventure.

*All times EST.

Tarot Card for The Day: It’s the “Four of Swords,” a card that depicts a corpse lying in state in a church (Rider-Waite Deck). This suggests a period of inward reflection is truly needed so we can get a handle on what we really need to do, where we want to really go with our lives, which have, seemingly, become way too rigid or purposeless. Also, it should be noted, that the “Hanged Man” and the “Hermit” (again) both fell out of the deck as I was shuffling it, along with the King of Cups. I think these first two cards are also possibly telling us that we must learn to accept or surrender to life “as it is,” instead of trying to fight or resist it. To also maybe have faith that all is well and working as it should be. The King of Cups also perhaps suggests that part of being a great leader is to tune in and listen to one’s own heart first, to one’s emotions and feelings, as well as to the pulse or heartbeat of the people.

Numerology: Today is a “thirteen” day, which also reduces down to the number four, suggesting that there is very good ability now for putting down a solid, secure foundation for the future, as well as being able to rally some support for what we’re attempting. It sounds like a winner! 🙂

Born On This Day: Entrepreneur and Democratic candidate for U.S. President, Andrew Yang, is turning 45 today. He once wrote: “There’s a big distinction between humans as humans and humans as workers. The former are indispensable. The latter may not be.”

Hope it’s a good one!
