The cosmic traffic is lighter today as we head into tomorrow’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. Luna, which sets the emotional tone or tenor, shifts around midday (1:17 pm) from deeper, darker Scorpio – an orientation focused more on the less obvious or subterranean root causes of things – to adventurous, aspirational Sagittarius (1:17 pm).

With the Waxing Moon deposited in fire-sign Sadge, we are more apt to want to directly act out our emotions. Our actions, at this time, also tend to be fueled more by our ideals, personal beliefs, or convictions. Shortly after Luna enters Sagittarius, it also sextiles responsibility-oriented Saturn Rx in innovative, more progressive Aquarius (at 3:43 pm). This may direct us to focus our attention on taking more practical steps that have a higher probability of yielding tangible results in the real world.

We start out our Monday with the waning Moon ensconced in optimistic Sagittarius. No doubt, doing her best to get us enthused for the new week ahead.

Visionary Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. It’s also the planet that governs the growth process in the body.

When we’re inspired or have something to look forward to, that’s often how we stay creatively engaged in life and keep our precious life force energy flowing vibrantly inside us.

Interestingly too, Jupiter symbolizes the arterial blood, which carries oxygen and nutrients away from the heart – the ruling center of our whole being – to the billions of tissues in our body.

Today is also the first full day for Mars in Capricorn, the sign of its exaltation. Mars in Saturn-ruled Capricorn can help us to become more measured or focused on the actions that we take, often allowing us to realize our goals with less energy, which is always a good thing!
