COSMIC WEATHER:

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy.” – Dale Carnegie

Luna in Sagittarius Squares the Sun in perfecting Virgo (2:08 pm). This more restless First Quarter Moon signals that it may be time for us to get down to business, putting our ideals, aspirations, and intentions into practice.

While Luna in the sign of the archer may inspire us to pursue riskier or more daring targets or pursuits, the Sun in synthesizing Virgo may help to shield or pad our actions with protective doses of precision and care so our efforts are more apt to gain traction.

Too, it could be that we may even be provided with ample opportunity to find creative ways to better manage or subdue our inner lunar critic, along the way!

“Criticism, like rain, should be gentle enough to nourish a man’s growth without destroying his roots.” – Writer Frank A. Clark

*All times EDT.

Born On This Day: Actor Charlie Sheen. He’s turning 57 today:

“I’m tired of ignoring that I march to a beat of a different drum.”

Hope it’s a good one! Please be safe and well.

Cosmic Weather:

“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.” – Audre Lorde

The cosmic traffic is lighter today as we head into tomorrow’s Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse. Luna, which sets the emotional tone or tenor, shifts around midday (1:17 pm) from deeper, darker Scorpio – an orientation focused more on the less obvious or subterranean root causes of things – to adventurous, aspirational Sagittarius (1:17 pm).

With the Waxing Moon deposited in fire-sign Sadge, we are potentially more apt to want to directly act out our emotions. Our actions, at this time, also may tend to be fueled more by our ideals, personal beliefs, or convictions.

Shortly after Luna enters Sagittarius, it also sextiles responsibility-oriented Saturn Rx in innovative, more progressive Aquarius (at 3:43 pm). This may direct us to focus our attention on taking more practical steps that have a higher probability of yielding tangible results in the real world.

“The youth gets together his materials to build a bridge to the moon, or, perchance, a palace or temple on the earth, and, at length, the middle-aged man concludes to build a woodshed with them.” – Henry David Thoreau

*All times EDT.

Born On This Day: Movie actress Angelina Jolie (45).

“If every choice you make comes from an honest place, you’re solid, and nothing anybody can say about you can rock you or change your opinion.” – AJ

Hope it’s a good one! Be safe and well.

COSMIC WEATHER:

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” – J.K. Rowlings

We start out our Monday with the waning Moon ensconced in optimistic Sagittarius. No doubt, doing her best to get us enthused for the week ahead! When we’re inspired or have something to look forward to, that’s often how we stay creatively engaged in life and keep our precious life force energy flowing vibrantly inside us.

Visionary Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. It’s also the planet that governs the growth process in the body, including ruling the liver, which is the body’s largest internal organ. Jupiter also symbolizes the arterial blood, which carries oxygen and nutrients away from the heart – the ruling center of our whole being – to the billions of tissues in our body.

Today is also the first full day for Mars in Capricorn, the sign of its exaltation. Mars in Saturn-ruled Capricorn can help us to become more measured or focused on the actions that we take, often allowing us to realize our goals with less energy. Which is always a good thing!

Tarot Card For The Day: The Eight of Cups, which represents walking away from something in contemplation for a new beginning.

Numerology For The Day: The number ’17’ suggests deep resolve, determination, and the ability to plow through obstacles.

Born On This Day: Basketball legend Michael Jordan, who’s turning 57 today.

“One day, you might look up and see me playing the game at 50. Don’t laugh. Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.” – MJ

Hope it’s a good one!
