We start out our Monday with the waning Moon ensconced in optimistic Sagittarius, obviously doing her best to get us inspired for the new week ahead.

Visionary Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. It’s also the planet that governs the growth process in the body. When we’re inspired or have something to look forward to, that’s really how we stay creatively engaged in life and keep our precious life force energy flowing vibrantly inside us. Interestingly too, Jupiter symbolizes the arterial blood, which carries oxygen and nutrients away from the heart, the ruling center of our whole being, to the billions of tissues in our body.

Today is also the first full day for Mars in Capricorn, the sign of its exaltation. Mars in Saturn-ruled Capricorn can help us to become more measured or focused in the actions that we take, often allowing us to realize our goals with less energy, which is always a good thing as who among us doesn’t want to be able to do more, with less. Too, it appears we’re in extra good company now as genius Albert Einstein also had his natal Mars in Capricorn. Of course, whether that automatically means that we’ll finally be able to figure out the cryptic meaning of E = mc²  probably remains doubtful, especially with intellectual Mercury now retrograde in spacey Pisces. 🙂
