Cosmic Weather:
Virgo Sun Opposes Neptune Rx in Pisces (5:21 am) – While it can be both noble and useful to imagine a better place and a brighter world, there’s also often great utility in simply trusting people, situations, and things to be or remain exactly as they are or always have been, based upon their history. This Sun-Neptune aspect has a tendency to lead us to believe that how we would like things to be is really the deal. In other words, the line between reality and illusion/wishful thinking may be a bit blurred now, so we should act accordingly, perhaps suspending final judgment until all the facts are in and all the deeds have been done. In other instances, this influence can correlate with a dissolving, destabilizing, or unraveling of the ego or of power structures (sometimes due to scandal). There can also be a strong desire to be of service to others or to engage in acts of charity, selflessness, or compassion.
Energizing Mars also exits Virgo tonight for diplomatic, Venus-ruled Libra (8:14 pm). While assertive Mars is not necessarily a happy camper in Libra, and is deemed to be in its detriment here (opposite its home sign of Aries), it can be a favorable placement for garnering cooperation or consensus building. A shadow side of Mars here, in the sign of the scales, can be a tendency towards ambivalence or wavering.
The Waxing Moon also shifts from Sadge into pragmatic, professionally ambitious Capricorn today (7:34 am).

On This Day in History: On September 14, 1901, U.S. President William McKinley dies after being shot on September 6 by anarchist Leon Czolgosz and is succeeded by Vice President Theodore Roosevelt. (Wikipedia)
Astrological highlights, on 9/14/01: the authoritative Sun was conjunct Karma Lord Saturn, in worldly Capricorn, often a more somber influence, which can suggest a time of loss or a change of power. Pioneering Mars in filtering Virgo was also separating from an exact trine to the Capricorn Sun, helping, perhaps, to facilitate the flow or transfer of presidential duties.
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Theodore Roosevelt
Hope it’s a good one! Please be safe and well!
