Although the Moon is still in exuberant Aries, there is a strong grounding component to the day. Energetic Mars is sextile stabilizing Saturn. An influence that tends to make us more focused and productive in our work.

The Moon is also void-of-course all day. This favors bringing matters to completion versus initiating anything new.

With “assertive” Mars square “rebellious” Uranus today, the planet of change and the unexpected, there can be a tendency to force things to happen now, maybe due to our own impatience or frustration with the status quo. Sometimes, though, when we push too hard, things often have a way of backfiring on us.

Instead, what we may want to do is simply try detaching, and observing what is “trying to happen” on its own around us. This may include noting any synchronistic type events. Or paying attention to the people entering / exiting our life now.

Mars-Uranus, at its noblest expression, can often introduce “catalyzing elements” into our lives, seemingly out of the blue, that can help us to get unstuck, with Uranus symbolizing innovation, as well as intuition. This is also a great day for brainstorming, in general, or for finding new ways to approach old problems.

Also, we will want to make sure that we pencil in time for some “physical activities” today, as the Moon is in testosterone-filled Aries. Usually with the Moon in “enterprising” Aries, we want to be starting something new. However, this is not really the case today with the Moon void of course (5:23 am EDT) and also in its waning phase. This is an excellent day, though, for attending to old projects, wrapping up existing business. Too, we often experience a sense of gaining energy when we put old matters to bed.

Later this evening, the Moon shifts into “grounding” Taurus (7:30 pm EDT), a time to focus on making aspects of our lives seemingly more stable and enduring. We are still likely in the “wanting to conquer the world” mode with the Moon ensconced a second day in pioneering Aries. 🙂 Too, we just may be able to do it! We have the clever Gemini Sun, denoting our executive ability, forming a harmonious trine to solidifying Saturn (8:12 am EDT). A time when we are often able to see tangible evidence of our past efforts finally beginning to emerge. Sun-Saturn is also very supportive for long-term planning.

We may additionally feel a greater sense of duty or responsibility to others now. The nature of Saturn tends to be more serious and paternalistic. This is an excellent day to demonstrate our own personal brand of leadership. COSMIC WATCH:

Jupiter, the planet of optimism and opportunity, is in harmonious alignment with the Sun, our power source and sense of self. The Moon is also in “pioneering” Aries. We are encouraged to act with confidence today and to mingle socially with others, particularly with those who are perceived to be authority figures or our superiors (Sun), as we have a chance to really shine now in their presence, which could help us to get ahead. The energy of the day is also conducive for undertaking new personal beginnings, or making headway with our goals.  With Sun-Jupiter, we are better able to see the “big picture” view of things, although we still do need to be attentive to the details.

Jupiter is also in “money and possession sign” Taurus and it is interesting that yesterday, as this influence was applying, the S & P’s 500-stock index closed at its highest level since 2008, on the heels of better-than-expected reports on home sales and consumer sentiment (wsj.com). Jupiter, which is linked with abundance, is often billed as the “cosmic Santa.” Jupiter is also applying to a positive trine to Pluto, which will be exact in a couple weeks. Pluto is associated with mega-wealth.
