This Date In History:
November 11, 1968:
John Lennon and Yoko Ono appear nude on the cover of the “Two Virgins” album. “Adventurous” Mars, ruling the aggressive urge, is exactly conjunct “Rebel” Uranus in “Marital” Libra, the sign of the public. Venus-ruled Libra is also associated with “artistic expression.”
With Mars conjoined Uranus, there is definitely more of a tendency for us to want to “break the rules.” Uranus symbolizes, “freedom of expression.” Mars also governs our sexuality, and paired with non-traditional, freedom-loving Uranus, there is certainly an increased proclivity to want to “innovate and experiment” in this area. Uranus, too, is characteristically “uninhibited.”
The Emotional Moon that day was also in “Theatrical, Drama Queen” Leo. Leo is the sign of “entertainment.”
