Affectionate Venus in adaptable Gemini forms an anchoring trine to protective Saturn in partnership Libra, helping to firm up and solidify our romantic and business relationships. We are able to deal more maturely and responsibly with respect to our relationship matters now, and also are more receptive to the idea of long-term commitment. This is also an excellent day to establish healthy relationship boundaries.
The Moon also shifts from conservative Capricorn to futuristic Aquarius (7:47 am EDT) putting us in more of an inquisitive state of mind. Intellectual Mercury in impressionable Cancer is also forming an exact square to change-agent Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, deposited in pioneering Aries. We may find that new information is coming at us fast and furious now and we may need some extra time to digest everything. Too, Mercury-Uranus can make our nerves a little more jittery as Uranus has more of a high-strung quality to it and Mercury rules the nervous system. With that said, we are also potentially more capable of flashes of brilliance and originality today as Uranus govern both genius and intuition.

In The News: On the eve of Mercury exactly square Uranus today, United Airlines reportedly grounded all inbound and outbound flights on Friday night for a while due to a computer problem. United airlines passengers were said to have been stranded at airports for at least five hours. Unfortunately, on the shadow side, Mercury-Uranus has a legacy of disrupting (Uranus) communications (Mercury). Uranus also governs both the aviation industry and computers. Mercury rules travel.

Thank you. You know, I stumbled on this theme yesterday and I do really like it. Of course I have another theme that I am suppose to be rolling out soon for a new site for myself, but I believe I prefer this one. It’s very crisp and neat. Green is also my favorite color. I also like the water and nature tie in.
Aquarius, Age of ? Computers? communication?…………….My world just dialed back 1 – 2 centuries this afternoon. As I write @ 8:PM EDT, there is a 4′ bald eagle keeping vigil in the tree across the salt marsh/stream in my backyard. It is watching over the deer carcus killed by a wolf earlier.! Yepper……….wolf-eagle.? Oddly the story on the Children’s classic hour this morning, on the radio, was Little Red Riding Hood.
It flew down ate it’s fill, and has gone away……….to take food to nestlings?
I am only 2/10 of a mile from RT#1 in coastal Maine, small village of 1,200 souls………..could walk to theDo you have any ideas on it? grocery store,
When I first noticed the drama, the wolf was trying to drag the deer from the salt marsh into the woods, a few feet away, having great difficulty in doing so. I snuck out my back door, quietly but not enough, because the wolf ran off. He must have succeeded later when I went to the store tho, because the eagle walked up the path of flattened grasses, to the edge of the trees, stood there peering in, then thought better of it, and went back to the parts left behind and continued to eat.
This is so rich with omens…I don’t know where to begin to interpret. Do you have any ideas on it?
Your entry here is very, very ironic because I believe it was just yesterday, I started writing a blog mentioning the big bad wolf, but then I scrapped the idea of it. Thought it was too corny.
What do you have in your horoscope today?
How do you feel about what you experienced here? Obviously you must feel sorry and saddened for the deer. What are your feelings towards the wolf? Are you mad at the wolf for killing the deer? How do you feel about the eagle? I wish I knew more about the symbolism of these animals, but I don’t. Perhaps someone reading will, however, and will intelligently comment. Obviously, there is the life-death struggle depicted, the predatory aspect to survival. Eagles are linked with bravery and courage. Wolves can be spiritual too but also have a negative connotation, like in the children’s story. With the Eagle still on the scene, maybe courage and bravery prevails at the end of the day?
I am fascinated with birds. Three times in my life owls have appeared to me in real life and in each case there has been a death within a couple days. Right before my husband died, a small whitish-colored owl suddenly appeared in my backyard on my gas grill, perched on top of it, right near my kitchen door. It was looking right into my kitchen. My husband and I both felt it was an omen at the time, and it was. Since then, I have read owls do often portend death. What was specially captivating about this owl is he saw us looking out the window at him, yet he just kept perched on the grill staring inside our house.
Thanks for sharing your story. BTW, I also was just mentioning to a friend yesterday how I would like to go to Maine and Vermont some day, as I have never been to either place. Also, that I would like to visit Cape Cod. The discussion came up because her son is going to be getting married in Cape Cod in Sept.
