COSMIC WATCH:
“You leave old habits behind by starting out with the thought, ‘I release the need for this in my life.'” Wayne Dyer
The cerebral Aquarian Moon invites us to dissect our humble lives and circumstances with Einstein-like detachment. Although, intellectual Mercury, in sensitive Cancer, with its opposition to bullying Pluto in repressed Capricorn, can make doing so a bit of a challenge, as this intense mental influence often finds us sumo-wrestling with more complex emotional issues from our past. This is because Pluto stands sentry over our subconscious. Mercury in ancestral Cancer also has a hearty appetite for old, nostalgic story lines.
Expressing our deepest thoughts and feelings (purging) may be healthy now, in a bid to “clear the air,” but we may want to purposefully avoid being overly confrontational (no blowing our stack, shouting matches, name-calling, etc.). Mercury-Pluto, on the shadow side, has amassed quite an impressive portfolio regarding obsessive thinking, secrecy, suspicion, and bottled up resentment. At the end of the day, though, do we really need to be bogging ourselves down with that kind of dubious inventory? I think not.
With that said, this is one of those singular days when we may finally be able to crack open and solve the ultimate mysteries of the Universe, and even those baffling, underlying perplexities about ourselves. Mercury-Pluto is superb for any kind of investigative work. Also for psychological detailing. Probing Pluto helps us masterfully get to the bottom of things with a laser-like focus. Perhaps in my case, I’ll be able to figure out where that lowly can of Progresso split pea soup may be surreptitiously hiding in the over-packed cupboard. I know I saw it in there the other day. It’s got to be in there. 🙂
In the News: Oil prices reportedly hit a 4-month low yesterday at $93 a barrel. Recently, Neptune, which rules oil, and Chiron, both turned retrograde (retreating) in Neptune-ruled Pisces, the zodiacal sign linked to oil. Could it be that the retrograde motion is why we are finally getting some relief at the pump?
“I love my father as the stars – he’s a bright shining example and a happy twinkling in my heart.” Terri Guillemets
Happy Father’s Day! Enjoy your Sunday.
