COSMIC WATCH:

The ”illuminating” Sun sextiles “renewing” Pluto, today. An aspect that can help us to “reclaim our power.” Also, this energy is excellent for fixing what’s broken or for taking corrective measures. I’m personally excited about this influence because my car has been under recall for a faulty ignition switch and finally, after months of waiting, I have an appointment with the dealership to get it repaired. Too, when we have a situation that is in need of correction, yet a fix isn’t made in a timely manner, the problematic circumstance or condition can often end up being a slow, subtle drain on our life force, and, sometimes, we may not even be consciously aware of this leakage, until later on, when the matter has been resolved and we then feel a sudden surge in our energy level. Sun-Pluto is also very good for “waking us up” to what’s going on, in the deeper regions of our psyche.

Venus also trines Chiron and quinqunxes Uranus. Our empathy for others’ struggles may increase (Chiron), while, at the same time, we may be craving more freedom or excitement (Uranus) in our relationships or social life.

The Moon also leaves “retiring” Pisces, around midday (1:53 pm EST), and shifts into “pioneering” Aries. Always a time of the month when we’re ready to take action on our desires. “Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.” Mahatma Gandhi

COSMIC WATCH:

We all crave intimacy or connection with others. However, we also know that “too much togetherness” can find us hightailing it for the hills! So how and where to draw the line here? This is a question that some of us may perhaps find ourselves mulling over now as sweet Venus aligns with “freedom-loving” Uranus (9:20 pm EDT) – a pairing that could very well translate into our wanting more “wiggle room” or “autonomy” with others, especially if we have been feeling too hemmed in, as of late.

By the way, relationship experts add that another key ingredient for happy relationships is to focus on bringing out the best in each other – a practice that can lead to our becoming our “idealized” (Neptunian) selves.

COSMIC WATCH:

The Moon’s shift into adventurous Aries (8:57 am EDT) favors exploring new worlds, starting new projects, adopting new strategies.  We may need to be careful, though, that we don’t act too impulsively without considering the full consequences of our behavior, as the Moon is making its monthly conjunction with rebellious Uranus (12:58 pm EDT), which can invoke quirkier, more erratic reactions from us.

Romantic Venus, newly deposited in passionate Scorpio, is also forming a quinqunx to wild card Uranus today. This aspect can spawn a craving for more excitement and independence in our relationships and social life, although it can be a destabilizing factor, if we venture too far down the indiscretion pathway.  This alignment can also find us forging ties with types we normally would not be attracted to. Of course, Luna is also leading up to its more volatile, Full Moon phase, late tomorrow (10:06 pm EDT). Full Moons tend to magnify our emotions and moods, especially in spontaneous-acting Aries.

This evening, the Moon’s square to controlling Pluto in authoritative Capricorn (7:06 pm EDT) can place some formidable roadblocks across our trail. However, in lieu of issuing ultimatums or dictates, we may find that by simply altering or recalibrating our responses, in a cooperative way, we still may be able to deftly spread our sphere of worldly influence and magically grow our kingdoms. Moon-Pluto is also an excellent time for purging or phasing out matters, with Pluto governing the process of elimination.

COSMIC WEATHER:

Moon enters Diagnostic Virgo (5:54 am EDT). We have abundant enthusiasm for self-diagnosis and mouthing off about our maladies to anyone who will listen. There is particular zeal in wanting to discuss the extreme pain that originates in our spleen area and extends all the way down to our big toe. We’re pretty certain, too, that this massive discomfort stems from the recent solar tsunami activity and we have amassed detailed documentation to prove it.

Connection Queen Venus in Proper Social Graces Libra has also moved into an exact quinqunx relationship with Rogue Uranus in Chaotic Pisces who is begging her for a date. Venus has no interest in going out with Wobbly Uranus because he’s such a lousy parallel parker. She’s also had it up to here with unruly planets who are perennially a law unto themselves and don’t know how to, or don’t care to, stay inside their own orbits – even on a first date!

Needless to say, Venus’ spurning of Uranus’ affections plunges him into a “dark night of the soul” in the lonely Piscean sea. Even the fish don’t want anything to do with him.
