With cerebral Mercury in ostentatious Leo square to long-winded Jupiter in moneybags Taurus, we may be hatching some grandiose, “get rich quick” schemes in our heads today. But how to implement those ideas is where our vision may suddenly get murky. Mercury square Jupiter tends to make us go overboard in our thinking. We exaggerate outcomes. Get sloppy with the facts.
One saving grace for us here: The Moon is deposited in practical, “detail-obsessed” Virgo. She will likely be taking critical aim at many of our hyperbolic meanderings, as soon as they surface.
We also have Mercury in Leo forming a stressful quinqunx to controlling Pluto in executive boardroom Capricorn. This aspect can tempt us to impose our will upon others, without their consent. If we choose to go down this prickly path, we may want to arm ourselves with an exit strategy, in advance. In the event our personal agendas meet with formidable, unfathomable resistance.

That Mercury square Jupiter must have definately led to the foolish decision the jury came to in the Casey Anthony trial. They definately were “sloppy with facts”. I don’t know how can they possibly live with their decision
We also have “decision-maker” Mercury in Leo (Leo rules children) exactly quinqunx to Pluto (which rules death). The quinqunx aspect is often an awkward influence, in which things seem out of balance. Fascinatingly, when the jury gave its “not guilty” verdict, Mercury and Jupiter were exactly square to the very minute. Makes you kind of wonder if everything was thoroughly thought through? Jupiter also governs legal proceedings.
Also another thing Patrice I think the jury should have come to a decision during that July 1 eclipse. I think a time like that would have allowed them to make much more careful choices….especially since it was a cancer solar eclipse and that emphasized “sympathy for children” a lot more.
The fact that they didn’t even charge her with an “accidental death” kind of makes me wonder how naive they were and what they were thinking this morning exactly. Didn’t they only charge her for her and her mother lying about who searched for “chloroform”?
Think about that for a second……she wasn’t even charged with an “accidental death”. Well nothing can be changed now.
Lol can you imagine if it was a “12 Angry Men” situation and it was because of only ONE jury member?
Since I don’t have expanded cable, I did not really follow the trial. I just saw snippets about it during the nightly news. I had a hunch that she might be found not guilty, though, because of the circumstantial nature of the case. I would love to see Casey’s horoscope and Caylee’s.
Regarding the jury getting the case on the eclipse day, sometimes it is better to wait a few days, as eclipses can be times when we are more emotional than normal. With that said, I would have preferred to see a verdict rendered on a day when Mercury was not square to Jupiter. Too, we do have the critical, analytical Virgo Moon (Moon rules the public) today and now many are critically weighing in on the jury’s verdict. It was interesting, too, how the quinqunx between Mercury and Pluto played out here, with the jury rendering a controversial decision in the death of the child (Mercury in Leo quinqunx Pluto).
Patrice this is kind of off topic but I was wondering if you could answer this for me. ..What conjunctions or trines in the sky would you normally look for to find out when a certain political leader(or former leader) will die?
Obviously we all know by now of the Mars Jupiter Conjunction in aries that played a role in Bin Laden’s death. But what kind of conjunction would we look for someone like say…….Fidel Castro when wondering what sign in the sky will foretell his death….

First off, I would never attempt to predict the death of anyone using astrology. I try to use astrology only to uplift and empower.
With that said, historically, there are often “changes in leadership” that occur on days when we have the Sun aligned with Saturn, Mars, Uranus or Pluto. Saturn-Pluto also can bring major shifts in power. There are actually numerous aspects linked with power changes. Saturn and Pluto are the planets associated with death. Also, the sign of Scorpio governs transitions.
