The authoritative Sun, the largest body in our solar system, squares off with forceful Mars today. When these two meet up, we often feel compelled to take assertive action to prove ourselves. The possible challenge for us here is to make sure that by acting in this manner we do not needlessly ruffle too many feathers as this could get us sent to the back of the classroom today! Since Mars also governs our physical energy, we may be able to make headway on our “to-do lists” as we may be feeling more invigorated now.

On another level, Sun-Mars aspects can often be very emotionally galvanizing, poising us to seek out adventurous or trail-blazing experiences.

Also today, mental Mercury is shifting from curious Gemini into sentimental Cancer where it will stay until June 25th. This may find us communicating with more sensitivity, including articulating our feelings more. Our words may also be able to trigger more emotionalism from others. Gemini governs news reporting which makes this an especially fascinating bit of astrological info. Mars in industrious Virgo perhaps also helped to take the news to a new level then.
