“Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird, that cannot fly.” Langston Hughes

COSMIC WATCH:

Are we living “the Dream?” Or, just “getting by?” Or, maybe our personal situation is a tad more complicated, punctuated by a few, noteworthy, “shades of gray?” 🙂

Regardless of where our particular life falls among these various scenarios, today’s Full Moon in “idealistic” Pisces (9:39 pm EDT), may find us going deep within our self searching for answers, including pondering the deeper meaning of our life, and what it is that we have been put on this earth to do. Full Moons often deliver up a fresh, new awareness of something. They can also represent a culmination or turning point in our affairs. Of course, we will also want to take a closer look at the house in our personal horoscope where this Full Moon is occurring, as that is the area of our life where our illumination may be the greatest. Also, where we may see a crescendo of activities occurring. The Full Moon is taking place near the midway mark of Pisces, at 16 degrees.

Today’s lunation puts the Virgo Sun opposite the Pisces Moon, suggesting that we’re hoping to balance or reconcile the needs of our everyday life and routine (Virgo) with the needs of our Spirit, or Authentic Self (Pisces) – something that is never very easy to do! Too, sometimes just having a clear vision (Pisces) for our life, can already put us way ahead of the game. “Dissolving” Pisces, being the last sign of the zodiac, is also where we become well aware of the impermanence and fleeting nature of life on the earth plane. Also, it is in this sign in which we often feel most compelled to make a worthwhile, selfless contribution to the collective. Winston Churchill once wisely remarked that, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”

Today’s Full Moon in Pisces is conjunct “wounded healer” Chiron and trine to “responsible” Saturn, so now might be a positive period for making heartfelt amends, or for making an effort to end or resolve our differences with each other, including letting go of any difficult issues, inside of us, that we may have been holding onto out of guilt or fear. Harmonious Moon-Saturn aspects are particularly good for stopping the hemorrhaging of our energies and getting us going again in the right direction. Saturn is also in “regenerating” Scorpio. An applying sextile to Saturn, from the “correcting” Sun in Virgo, also lends a supportive hand here. Too, today may be a good time for consulting with a nutritionist or holistic health coach regarding dietary (Virgo) issues.

Additionally, the Sun in Virgo is quinqunx “quirky” Uranus today, the planet of the unexpected, meaning that it may be wise to have “Plan B” ready to go, just in case things do not go as planned. Sun-Uranus often will challenge us to use our ingenuity to navigate sudden turnarounds. On another level, this aspect can find us questioning or taking issue with the status quo, or possibly even developing new ideological platforms. Uranus symbolizes radical factions, innovators, technology and the internet.

Question for Today: What is the life you were “meant to live?”
