Glad to see you back, Pat! Today was such a day for me. We rescue cats that are stray, abandoned, abused, and ferals. Last night we sat with a senior cat we rescued from death row 3 years ago, while he died. It was emotionally draining, but I’m doing what I love to do and I showed him love until the last second. He didn’t have to die alone in a cage. I can feel transformation.
A very moving story! I also feel the transformation just hearing about it. You are to be commended for the saintly work that you are doing. Thank you so much for sharing your story here. Also, I am so very sorry for your loss.
Thanks. We knew it was coming, but it doesn’t take away the pain. We gave him the best life we could while he was here. I know he knows we loved him. ❤ This is the sad part of trying to help them.
