While “living in our head,” or relying mainly on logic and reasoning, often seems to be an easier and safer strategy to employ as we go about the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, in the end, it can also leave us feeling cut off or alienated, not only from ourselves, but also from others and the world at large. This more cerebral mode of living also does not really provide us with the deeper kind of guidance and connection that our inner spirit is longing for. However, when we decide to turn a serious ear to the music that is always gently emanating or pulsating from our own heartstrings, not only do we always get the true answers that we are seeking, we are also filled with a rich sense of our own oneness and purpose, as the disquieting fragmentation begins to pass away. “Follow your heart.
