COSMIC WATCH:

Makeovers can be exciting and invigorating. They can also be an ideal way to sustain our existences over time, as they inevitably help us to step outside of our comfort zones and experience or witness old elements in a brand-new light. Including often allowing us to view ourselves with renewed fascination and interest. And, as our perceptions are stretched or altered, we unwittingly end up sowing the seeds of our own growth or evolution.

With transformational Pluto, the official “makeover guru,” stationing direct in Capricorn today (1:07 am) after a five-month retrograde (review) phase, we seem to have cosmic approval to outwardly re-define or re-invent ourselves in healthy new ways that potentially allow for the fullest expression of our authentic self. Pluto archetypically represents what is essentially our raw essence, or what is often submerged or buried within us at the core levels of our being.

As is typically the case with purging Pluto’s activated ray, we may also have more of a passion now to divest ourselves of any elements that are outworn, dishonest, or redundant. Too, ideally better able to stand and flourish surrounded simply by our own truth, instead of being led by dictates formulated by others.

Luna is also entering Pluto-ruled Scorpio today (10:46 am) where it will join galvanizing Mars on Wednesday. The very same day that radical Uranus is making yet another exact square aspect to game-shifting Pluto.

We are all in this together. For better or for worse. Mental Mercury also entered fair, balanced Libra, late yesterday, which can potentially aid us in seeing others’ point of view.

Mercury, however, is also under a bit of pressure today as it is quinqunx foggy Neptune (10:24 am EDT). With Mercury-Neptune, sometimes our thinking can get a little blurred or fuzzy, or we perhaps we are missing some key information that we could ideally employ in our brilliant decision-making. Might be a good day to be guided by the practical, enduring sentiment, “When in doubt, don’t.” 🙂

It often turns out, too, that when we are willing to mentally disengage ourselves for a while, instead of forcing ourselves into a certain mode of action before we are ready, we usually end up on a much clearer path with more self-assurance and conviction.
