Thoreau’s “bevy of wisdom” here may also be the rich philosophical brew that we might all want to drink up and take to heart today. This is because we have the Moon in “get her done” Capricorn, a sign that is known for being able to erect a sturdy floorboard under its dreams. The ambitious Capricorn Moon is also not a particularly happy camper inhabiting drafty “castles in the air.” Unless, of course, she can also play the dashing role of landlord and collect all the rent money. 🙂

The Capricorn Moon natively possesses excellent business-savvy. She is a veteran survivalist. A real “Mama Grizzly” you don’t want to wrestle with.

Too, we may also be able to leave behind our adorable, little “bear claw mark” more cleverly today. This 72-degree aspect is fabulous for creativity, especially with Mars here governing our will and resolve, and Uranus our brilliance and originality.

In the News: Late First Lady, Betty Ford, will be buried today in my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved late husband, Gerald R. Ford, on the grounds of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, which is on the banks of the mighty Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids. The funeral service will be held at the same Episcopal church in Grand Rapids that Gerald and Betty Ford were married at in 1948. They were wed for 58 years.

Ironically, it is also Gerald Ford’s birthday today (a patriotic Cancer Sun, with a visionary Sagittarius Moon). He would have been 98. May Betty and Gerald Ford rest together in peace for all eternity.
