“In my silence do I enhance my talents.” – Ernest Agyemang Yeboah
Mental Mercury, governing our decision-making, stations direct in impressionable Pisces today at 16 degrees (9:59 am) – alongside elusive Neptune – after being retrograde since March 5th. We’ll need to wait a few days, however, before the true nature of things is fully known, and all the facts are in. So if you’re needing to make a decision about something now, you may want to factor in that there could still be some information forthcoming, in the future, that could alter or impact those decisions, down the road. Mercury will clear its shadow phase on April 16th.
The Moon also entered its Last Quarter phase, early this morning (12:09 am), with the Sun in burgeoning Aries squaring the Moon in utilitarian Capricorn. The Last Quarter Moon phase is usually a time when we’re getting a better sense of what’s working for us, and what’s not. Generally, during this time, we want to be wrapping things up now versus starting anything new.

On This Day in History: On March 28, 1885, the Salvation Army is organized in the US.
“Recognized throughout the world for its humanitarian work, thrift shops, and red donation kettles, the Salvation Army is an evangelical Christian church. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ while helping others without discrimination. Because they work on the front lines where people are in need or are suffering, Salvation workers refer to themselves as soldiers and use a military hierarchy.” (pocketsense.com)
Astrologically, on that day, Venus, the goddess of love, and Mars, the god of war, were both exactly conjunct at 29 degrees of spiritually-minded Pisces, a critical degree. Mars in Pisces is also often referred to by astrologers as the “spiritual warrior.” Venus is also often thought to be at her most empathetic in Pisces. More prone to being able to demonstrate unconditional love. Both Mars and Venus were also applying to a one degree waning sextile to transformational Pluto in neighborly Gemini.
Hope you enjoy your Thursday!
