Cosmic Weather:
“Our abilities to understand, adjust, and change make us wise.” – Debashish Mridha M.D.
Moon in Virgo:
Don’t you just love to hear the phrase, “May I help who’s next?” when you’re the one who’s next in line? Especially if you’ve been waiting seemingly forever to be waited on? Anyway, today has this same kind of feel to it. Sort of like we’re having to stand in line, conduct our official business, do some revisions or rewrites with respect to our projects or plans before we’re allowed to bust out of the gate. Even then, we’re likely not going to be busting out of anything now, but rather moving ahead at more of a slow, cautious pace. The Moon is still in perfecting Virgo, and Mama Virgo is doing her thing! Committed to continuing her heroic efforts to whip us into shape! Plus, with Luna’s trine to transforming Pluto in Capricorn, later today (8:51 pm), it could be she may actually be able to work a miracle or two for us!
Moon trine Pluto favors restorations or refurbishings, decluttering, detox efforts, succession-planning, and panning for gold (both internally and externally).
Sun in Pisces semi-square Saturn in Capricorn:
This aspect kind of plays right into the hands of the corrective Virgo Moon energy to the extent that it can make us feel, on the shadow side, that we’re not good enough as we are. That we should possibly strive, instead, to conform to some kind of hallowed cultural yardstick of what is uniformly exemplary or acceptable. Of course, we don’t need to buy into this type of self-limiting or self-abnegating doctrine. Better to focus our efforts on building affirmatively upon how we already are, or how we want to be, and taking empowering action to move into that direction. “It is not as much about who you used to be, as it is about who you choose to be.” Sanhita Baruah. On another level, sometimes this planetary aspect can coincide with our having to shift course, or needing to cut our losses with something.
Sun semi-square Saturn also favors, among other things, taking preventive health measures to possibly shore up our bones or dental health. May also be a time when we re-consider or revise some of our plans for retirement.
On This Day in History: On February 20, 1962, John Glenn becomes the first American to orbit the Earth, aboard Friendship 7. Mars (pioneering) and Jupiter (expansion) were both in Aquarius, the sign which governs space travel. Analytical Mercury had also just stationed direct in research-oriented Virgo, the sign of its rulership, and was getting ready to conjunct transformative Pluto. Mercury-Pluto aspects, especially the conjunction, are often associated with deep or intense life-altering experiences that can drastically change our perceptions or consciousness about something.
