“A beautiful thing happens when we start paying attention to each other. It is by participating more in your relationship that you breathe life into it.” Steve Maraboli

COSMIC WATCH:

The “sentimental” Moon wraps up her stay in “social” Libra, this morning, with a conjunction to communicator Mercury. This may be a positive time to share or discuss our feelings with our mate or partner, or fellow comrades – especially if we’re also willing to hear what they have to say, as well. Too, this influence can be great for doing any personal journaling, or for writing creative copy that emotionally moves (Moon) others. Also, since this conjunction is occurring in balanced and fair-minded Libra, this Moon-Mercury energy may favor diplomatic efforts. It’s also important to note that Mercury is now at the end of Libra – at the anaretic degree – suggesting more of an “urgent nature” to communications or negotiations.

The Moon’s shift into “passionate” Scorpio (10:29 am EDT) also potentially adds a healthy dose of resolve or determination to whatever we choose to focus on today, with the Scorpio Moon characteristically known for its “staying power.” Late writer and renown management consultant Peter Drucker once noted that “commitment” is the catalyst for making our goals or intentions take shape. He said, “Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans.”  I also think that, sometimes, we shy away from committing our self to something because we’re unsure or unclear of its value to us.

Some celebrities born with the Moon in Scorpio: Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Chaplin, Bruce Lee, Elizabeth Taylor.

Question for Today: What are you most committed to achieving?

Famous September 26 Birthdays: George Gershwin, T.S. Eliot, Olivia Newton-John

“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.” T. S. Eliot, Four Quartets

Enjoy your Friday!

Also, I wanted to extend congratulations to retiring Yankee Shortstop Derek Jeter for giving baseball fans a truly electrifying and historic “Jupiter trine Uranus” moment at Yankee Stadium, last night. Jeter reportedly described his winning hit in his final at-bat at Yankee Stadium as “an out-of-body experience is the best way to put it.” (New York Times).
