There’s a Full Moon/Total Lunar Eclipse in visionary Sagittarius today (4:14 pm), the sign of the hopeful archer. Sagittarius is viewed as governing our beliefs and personal philosophy of life and also rules long-distance travel, the law, clergy, and higher education.

This eclipse is occurring at 24 degrees of Sagittarius, smack near the Galactic Center. A Full Moon Eclipse is regarded as a time of potent release when we may empty out our stale contents. It is also thought to be a time for reflection and illumination.

The perception around eclipses is that they are potentially times when events may be speeded up; eclipses may also possibly usher in pivotal changes that alter the landscape around us. Their influence is thought to last up to six months.

Whatever house this eclipse is falling in today, in our charts, is where we may be presently engaged in a search for more meaning and where we may be needing to tweak, dismantle, or defend some of our beliefs.
