Today’s Mercury-Uranus sextile is associated with sudden flashes of insight or intuition, ingenuity, innovation. Needless to say, a great day to jot down our ideas, even if we do not act upon them, just yet.

Additionally, now may be an excellent time to seek out creative financing or funding for projects related to the home or family. Or to try out fresh new approaches with homefront issues. 

On This Day in History: On June 7, 1965, The Supreme Court of the United States decides on Griswold v. Connecticut, effectively legalizing the use of contraception by married couples.

Regarding the astrology that day: Feminine Venus had just entered Cancer at one degree (the sign of the womb/family). The Moon had also shifted into matrimonial Libra, mid-morning. Jupiter (affiliated with judges and courts) and Mercury (decisions) were also conjunct in detached, cerebral Gemini and exactly square to change-oriented Uranus in health-related Virgo; and Saturn (convention, restrictions) in dissolving Pisces was in a close trine with accepting Neptune in sexual, reproductive rights Scorpio.
