COSMIC WATCH:
“The mystical life is the center of all that I do and all that I think and all that I write.” William Butler Yeats
The Moon enters “mystical” Pisces (1:13 am EDT) and conjuncts “fantasy” Neptune (2:02 am EDT), the planetary ruler of Pisces. Making the connective thread to “reality” possibly more tenuous for us. Neptune governs our imagination. It also rules our nocturnal dreams, which we may want to pay more attention to now. Psychologist, Carl Jung, said that we should embrace our dreams as “communications from the unconscious.” Neptune is also the portal through which we enter “other realms.”
About mid-day, the Pisces Moon’s sextile to transforming Pluto (12:17 pm EDT) is an opportune time for healing and renewal. Also, what has been hidden from view, may now be revealed.
Later, the Moon’s linkup to abundant Jupiter in sensual Taurus (3:52 pm EDT) puts the pleasures of the earth plane magically within reach. This aspect also helps fuel our optimism.
Famous Birthdays: Former astronaut, John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth, turns 90 today. What I find most intriguing about his horoscope is “otherworld” Neptune, in flashy Leo, is exactly conjunct his 9th house cusp, which is the house of long-distance travel. He also has Uranus, the planet of aviation that governs the space program and astronauts, exactly trined to transforming Pluto, with the trine being a more harmonious alignment.
Ironically, we presently have transiting Uranus in a more stressful square aspect to Pluto now, with Pluto in “budget-minded” Capricorn. The U.S. space shuttle program (Uranus) will be officially ending (Pluto) this week when Atlantis returns to Earth (Pluto presides over both death and rebirth). Probably not the kind of birthday present John Glenn had in mind.
How do you feel about traveling into outer space? Would you go? Is it a waste of taxpayer money?
“I don’t know what you could say about a day in which you have seen four beautiful sunsets.” John Glenn
Enjoy your Monday!
