Included here: Our firm belief that lovable Simon Cowell will be dialing us up any minute with a big fat recording contract because he has heard about our wondrous singing in the shower from Paula Abdul.

We also feel pretty certain about the prospect of Oprah Winfrey squeezing down the chimney with Gayle King, this holiday season, putting a trip to Australia under our yuletide tree, too, as a show of gratitude for our being a faithful, loyal viewer to her show, her last season.

Yes, we need to enjoy these happy ‘fairy-tale endings,’ while we can today, because tomorrow the ‘big bad wolf’ pays us a visit to ‘shake us down’ with scary thoughts from our subconscious about the ‘Grench who stole Christmas,’ and who also is additionally threatening to blab our confidential Santa Claus list to WikiLeaks, most assuredly forever dooming our chance for a life-size, inflatable Ken doll under our yuletide tree. Alluding here, of course, to the ‘wicked witch of the west’ triple conjunction tomorrow of Mercury, Mars, and Pluto in ‘scrooge’ Capricorn. ‘Bah, humbug!'”
