Cosmic Weather:
“I found power in accepting the truth of who I am. It may not be a truth that others can accept, but I cannot live any other way. How would it be to live a lie every minute of your life?” – Alison Goodman
Nice enough quote. But unfortunately, for those of us who may still be a little or a lot baffled navigating through the hazy, never-ending, much-ballyhooed ‘self-discovery process,’ today’s revelatory Full Moon in “I Am” Aries may feel enormously intimidating and frustrating as it boldly prompts us to make ourselves a priority, to take chances, and to live out our whole truth on an impromptu stack of bibles or coloring books or whatever is available or handy at the moment. Yet, where is the official, step-by-step instruction manual on precisely how to do all this? There has got to be one lurking about somewhere. After all, it is 2022! We did not just arrive here by boat yesterday. Too, not everyone is interested in reinventing the wheel. Maybe that is because we are not yet that desperate!
Also, what if we fall off a cliff in the process of flying by the seat of our pants? – a common Aries practice. Who is going to be there to rescue us toting a big bowl of hot chicken soup? Chances are nobody! – except maybe a plaintiff’s attorney born under the sign of Cancer. But that is how the fearless Full Moon in Aries rolls: We are pretty much on our own – and that’s that – and we are supposed to revel and delight in this awful, woeful Libra-denying reality.
But isn’t it also natural – and actually very healthy and maybe admirable – to declare that we may have cold feet or serious doubts about all the supposed ultimate payoffs of giving ourselves full rein to be exactly who we are? Meaning we would perhaps rather just wait it out until the final verdict is in.
Plus, today’s Full Moon conjuncts wounded warrior Chiron – which likely means we will be shamed big time if we even think for a moment about comparing ourselves to others. Even worse if we find ourselves lacking in the comparison – which no doubt would ostracize us for life from participating in nearly everything under both the Sun and Moon combined. Cannot even imagine a much worse fate – except maybe also being banned for life from Twitter. Think I am already feeling Wednesday’s “out-of-body” Mars-Neptune square. 🙂
“I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.” – Groucho Marx
If it were only that easy.
Born On This Day: Beatle John Lennon in 1940 in Liverpool, England (d. 1980):
“When you do something noble and beautiful and nobody notices, do not be sad. For the sun every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps.”
Happy Full Moon blessings! Hope it’s fun! Please be safe and well.
