COSMIC WEATHER:

“Starting is not most people’s problem, staying, continuing and finishing is.” – Darren Hardy

With the Sun in enterprising Aries today and the waning Moon in ambitious Capricorn there’s potentially excellent energy now for finishing up our ‘to-do’ lists (Moon trine Mars) or ‘should-do’ lists (Moon conjunct Saturn).

Plus, with energizing Mars, the ruler of Aries, at 29 degrees of builder Taurus, today and tomorrow (the anaretic or critical degree), we may feel propelled to take some key, last minute-actions now, on matters that we’ve maybe had on the back burner for a while. Kind of like: “I’m going to get this sucker done, if it’s the last thing I do!”

“Feeling lost, crazy and desperate belongs to a good life as much as optimism, certainty and reason.” – Alain de Botton

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY:

On March 29, 1973, the last U.S. troops withdraw from South Vietnam.

Astrologically, on that day, intellectual Mercury, in sensitizing Pisces, was exactly square to restrictive Saturn in cerebral Gemini. This tends to be a more serious-minded aspect. It can make us more aware of losses or limitations. It can also sometimes motivate us to make more difficult or final decisions. In some cases, it can be a time when say goodbye.

Additionally, Mars and Jupiter were conjunct in freedom-minded Aquarius and both were applying to a sextile to Neptune in philosophical Sagittarius. Transcendent Neptune’s “dissolving ray” is also seemingly a factor with respect to crafting peace treaties, ending wars, discord, or violence.

“It is not enough to win a war; it is more important to organize the peace.” – Aristotle

Famous March 29 Birthdays: Eugene McCarthy, Sam Walton, Billy Carter, John Major, Karen Ann Quinlan

“The two most important words I ever wrote were on that first Wal-Mart sign: ‘Satisfaction Guaranteed.’ They’re still up there, and they have made all the difference.” – Sam Walton
