COSMIC WATCH:

“Precision of communication is important, more important than ever, in our era of hair trigger balances, when a false or misunderstood word may create as much disaster as a sudden thoughtless act.” James Thurber

With intellectual Mercury quinqunx fuzzy Neptune, we are challenged to communicate with as much clarity and honesty as possible today to avoid any potential confusion or misunderstandings. This may also mean that if we are unsure of what to say to others, perhaps because we are unclear in our own thinking on some point, we should also let that ambiguity be known. Part of embracing our own power is being able to speak exactly what is in our heart.

It may also be a good day to remember that one of the best ways that we can honor somebody else is to give them our full attention when they speak. Many pitfalls in communication occur because we simply fail to listen intently to each other. “Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.” Rabindranath Tagore

The Moon also goes void of course in “judicial” Libra today (4:22 am EDT) where it will stay until it enters “complex” Scorpio (4:32 pm EDT).  With the Moon void of course, we want to be finishing up old business instead of starting anything new. Interestingly, today is also the day that the Supreme Court will be finishing up business with respect to weighing in with regard to the Obama Health Care Plan. Libra is the sign of justice and it is also the sign that governs the Supreme Court. Authoritarian Saturn also just stationed direct in this sign a few days ago, suggesting it is time to move forward now in the various matters ruled by the sign.

How comfortable are you with ambiguity? How do you tend to deal with it?

“If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.Rene Descartes

Famous Birthdays June 28: Richard Rodgers, Alexis Carrel

In the News: The FDA has approved the first new weight-loss pill in 13 years. The pill, Belviq, is made by Arena Pharmaceuticals.

This approval came with Jupiter, in flexible Gemini, exactly square to Neptune in its home sign of Pisces. Jupiter is associated with obesity, while Neptune and Pisces both govern drugs or pharmaceuticals. When planets are in square relationship to each other, the issues of those planets are often activated.

Enjoy your Thursday!
