The inquisitive Sagittarius Moon is commonly regarded as an invite to spread our wings and enthusiastically explore new horizons, both physically and mentally. This sign is linked with publishing, writing, teaching, self-marketing and promotion, travel, religion, philosophy and higher education.

The Sadge Moon’s late-night sextile to serious Saturn in partnership Libra (11:18 pm) also may offer us a chance for disciplined study and maybe sharing or journaling about the accumulated wisdom that we have amassed in the course of our daily lives, as Moon Saturn is thought to help us evaluate matters in a very distilled way. This energy also naturally favors introspection or looking back, with Saturn reverently standing sentry over the past.

Luna remains in beauty-loving Libra all day.

Too, with mental Mercury in organizing Virgo, harmonious to energetic Mars in domestic Cancer, today may be a good time for beautifying the home front. Or the Virgo-ruled workplace.

Mercury is also opposing imaginative Neptune. This ideally elevates our creativity and visioning skills. Redecorating, re-arranging furniture to where it will look best, or removing unwanted objects from our environment may help to rejuvenate us now. Also, perhaps putting fresh flowers out can also help to inspire balance and calmness within, according to feng shui.

Tonight, dreamy Neptune also leaves Pisces and retrogrades back into group-oriented Aquarius, the sign of the collective, where it will stay until February 3, 2012.

This sign shift puts “otherworldly” Neptune into the spotlight now, adding perhaps a surrealistic tone to things.
