COSMIC WEATHER:

In wake of Monday’s New Moon in “experimental” Aquarius, today is an excellent time to kind of take a “test run” of things with the Aquarian Sun forming an exact sextile to Uranus, the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. This vibrant and quickening influence potentially poises us to be more flexible or open-minded in situations, as well as inspires us to embrace the changes that we know are needed in our lives in order to hopefully have them flow more effortlessly and authentically from our true center. Albert Einstein once quipped that “the measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”

With that said, it might be a great day to hang out with people or types we normally would not associate with to broaden our outlook, especially since we also have relationship Venus squaring Uranus today as well, an aspect which can coincide with a desire for more freedom or newness in our connections. Sun-Uranus also favors involvement in group activities or humanitarian causes.

Mercury trine Jupiter additionally helps us to look at the big picture, today. It may also be important for us now to discuss topics that are more meaningful to us, or that reflect our core beliefs and values. Mercury-Jupiter is also associated with public speaking and publishing.

The “utilitarian” waning Capricorn Moon are is also very busy, today, forming six aspects, all this morning, before going void of course at 10:54 am. It will enter Aquarius at 12:59 am, Sunday morning, and will no longer be void.

COSMIC WATCH:

Intellectual Mercury’s shift into cautious Capricorn tends to make us more pragmatic with our thoughts or ideas – although today may not be the typical poster child for Mercury here, in this earth sign, as the Winged Messenger forms a trine to big picture, philosophical Jupiter and also a square to out of the box, tinkering Uranus.

Additionally, the nurturing Cancer Moon puts a focus on self-care and family/domestic issues. Luna also will be reaching its Full phase early tomorrow morning, meaning that are sensitivities/emotions are building now.

COSMIC WATCH:

The Moon remains in enterprising Aries, although, its monthly opposition to resistant Saturn in relationship Libra (12:26 pm EDT) may mean that we have to do some yielding to others before we can pass “Go” and collect that expectant $200. 🙂

However, we may not be sidelined for too long, as we also have mental Mercury in industrious Virgo forming a harmonious trine to “Santa Claus” Jupiter in indulgent Taurus (9:44 pm EDT). Jupiter generously gifting us with big ideas so that we may grow and prosper. This optimistic aspect can also make us extra persuasive in speech and writing. It also favors learning, religion, legal matters, and publishing.

Romantic Venus also cascades into diplomatic Libra (10:40 pm EDT), one of the two signs that she rules. Now that she has a home-court advantage, hopefully, she will be able to help smooth out, or put to bed, any of our thorny, relationship issues. This is also a very artistic placement for “Lady Love,”  favoring remodeling or beautifying projects. Sweet Venus transits Libra until October 9.
