Much of the time in our culture, we seem to equate happiness and contentment with having more of what we want. Yet, sometimes, an empty cup can be a good thing because it gives us a chance to brew up something new and wildly different.

The Moon’s square to expansive Jupiter in Leo (6:41 am) could possibly hijack our sense of reality and get us caught up in our dreams. Any “over the top” behavior is a real possibility now.

The Moon’s annual monthly conjunction to serious Saturn (9:50 pm) does act as an effective antidote to the Moon Jupiter square, bringing us back swiftly to the steady drumbeat of reality. But it could also work to blot out our perspective if we focus too much on what is missing in our life and forget to focus on all the positives that we have going on. With this last aspect, the Moon also goes void-of-course in mysterious Scorpio until 11:21 pm when it enters upbeat Sagittarius.

Intellectual Mercury quincunx controlling Pluto can get us a little too preoccupied with our thoughts. If we recognize that we are obsessing about something, that should be a clear signal to us to take a time out and regroup.
