COSMIC WATCH:

This Christmas, conversation may be flowing like the holiday eggnog with the Moon’s entrance into chatty Gemini (2:13 am). A perfect day for gathering and sharing information and for catching up with those persons who we have maybe been out of the loop with for a while.

The Moon is also appropriately conjunct big-hearted Jupiter (7:18 pm), the planet that is the astrological archetype for Santa. Hopefully, this optimistic configuration will also be the magical key that unlocks our own unlimited supply of generosity and goodwill. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Later this evening, we also have another major shift with motivator Mars stepping into progressive Aquarius (7:49 pm), where it will stay until February 1. Mars in Aquarius means that it’s time to adopt more of a team-approach to things and to try untested methods.

The Sun is also squaring futuristic Uranus tonight (8:31 pm), the modern day ruler of Aquarius, further allowing us to embrace and gravitate to new experiences. It could be that we may want to add some new traditions or customs to this special day now, as Uranus is all about expanding beyond the norm, sometimes even in quirky or offbeat ways.
