COSMIC WATCH:

With the Moon in “don’t fence me in” Aries today, and also conjunct “rules-breaker” Uranus (12:14 pm EDT), allowing ourselves more latitude to draw outside the lines may be a positive way for us to experience and cultivate a sense of our own uniqueness or quirkiness now. Also, with the Moon aligned with improvisational Uranus, having a “Plan B” ready to whip out, at a moment’s notice, may be a smart strategy in which to play the day. Uranus often presenting us with sudden opportunities to think on our feet.

(The Moon is in “self-confident” Leo today; it is square to “exacting” Saturn. The “empowering” Sun is quinqunx to “altering” Pluto.)

We should always be clear about what we want to achieve, but also willing to couple this clarity with a spirit of flexibility, in case conditions change. Too, when we demonstrate a willingness to bend, when needed, we are signaling to the universe that we are open to receiving further guidance or wisdom, and also acknowledging that we are humbly aware that we do not have all the answers.

Too, sometimes a path is only meant to be a starting point or launching pad for us, and not designed to take us all the way to our destination. When we accept this fact, and do not resist, we often are placed on a trajectory that is even better than the one that we had originally intended for ourselves.

What would be your best advice to someone who is facing a major change?

COSMIC WATCH:

With the Moon’s entrance into “ambitious” Capricorn what adds to our sense of well-being now is feeling a sense of accomplishment, or perceiving that we are making headway towards whatever it is that we set out to do. Capricorn is also the sign that governs our career. “There is joy in work. There is no happiness except in the realization that we have accomplished something.” Henry Ford

A Moon-Neptune sextile (9:04 am EST) also potentially enhances our visioning ability, as Neptune rules our imagination. Too, once we have a clear vision of something, it is much easier for us to take action or develop a strategy to achieve that dream. It is like beginning at the end, which is really so much easier on us than heading out without a set destination in mind, as without a vision we are more likely to drift, which can end up being very energy draining.

We may also want to make sure that we have a “Plan B” option in place, this afternoon, just in case, as the Moon is squaring both Uranus (1:26 pm EST), planet of the unexpected, and Mercury, ruler of our reasoning. (4:53 pm EST). Rich opportunities, no doubt, for embracing flexibility and for developing our own reservoir of logic. “It is the mark of an educated man to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” Aristotle.
