Cosmic Weather:

Winged messenger Mercury in Scorpio forms a waning sextile to Pluto in Capricorn, the great revealer (4:14 am):

A delicious opportunity for us to get “up close and personal” with our very own subconscious cache of hermetically sealed ideas, thoughts, perceptions, realities that, most likely, haven’t seen the light of day since Adam reportedly met Eve in that precarious, slippery, obscure “garden spot,” long ago.

Overall, Mercury-Pluto is excellent for discussing deeper topics, purging ourselves of erroneous assumptions, speaking our truth. It is also a good time to attend to such mundane things as will preparation, estate or succession planning, or dealing with insurance and tax matters.

The curious, ambidextrous Gemini Moon will also be right by our side, for most of the day, deftly assisting us with any of the requisite psychological rock turning, the transcription of therapists’ notes, puzzle-solving, the masterful execution of all the extraneous, perfunctory, neighborly chit-chat that perennially helps to make all of our everyday lives so totally memorable and meaningful. 🙂

“The only reason why we ask other people how their weekend was is so we can tell them about our own weekend.” Chuck Palahniuk

Late tonight (10:33 pm), Luna will enter homebody Cancer.

Too, in between the Moon sign changes, the Sun will undergo a radical costume change of its own leaving dark, foreboding Scorpio for rambling, gambling Sagittarius (9:34 pm), where it will joyously speculate and cajole until the cows come home. The Sun will remain in Sadge until December 21st.

“Sagittarius has the extraordinary ability to transform even the most mundane pursuit (say, a quick trip to the corner store) into a full-blown adventure.” – Aliza Kelly at Cosmopolitan.com

This Day in History: On November 21, 1989, President George H.W. Bush signs into law legislation banning smoking on most domestic flights in the US.

Astrologically, that day, powerhouses Mars and Pluto were conjunct in transformational Scorpio and sextile to rules-enforcer Saturn, the disciplinarian, in hard-nosed Capricorn (the sign of its rulership). The Moon was also in health-conscious, abstemious Virgo.

Born On This Day: French writer, philosopher, and playwright Voltaire, in 1694, in Paris (d. 1778). He once mused:

“God is a comedian playing to an audience that is too afraid to laugh.”

(Wow! I think he hit the ball out of the park, with that one! How about you?)

Hope it’s a good one! Please be safe and well.
