We may want to be more mindful of our communications, as well as our travel plans, the next three weeks, with Mercury stationing retrograde today at 12 degrees of leadership Leo (10:16 pm EDT). As many of us know, Mercury retrograde has been linked with communication and travel snafus. Too, we have just had Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, also go retrograde on the 13^th. On the eve of that planet’s retrograde, there reportedly was also an extreme solar flare eruption. A solar storm from that eruption could be heading to earth this weekend potentially posing danger to technology on Earth, as well as any spacecraft. Uranus governs technology and is also connected with space travel.

Retrograde Mercury periods are generally times when we revisit our recent decisions and thinking. Too, decisions that are made concerning new matters, during a retrograde period, are sometimes later revised, postponed or delayed, so we need to be sure that we keep a flexible mindset and not get bent out of shape should these things occur later. Some astrologers also suggest postponing signing important contracts during a retrograde Mercury cycle until Mercury goes direct.
