“Human nature is potentially aggressive and destructive and potentially orderly and constructive.” Margaret Mead.
We’re still under the spell of the applying Mars quinqunx Pluto energy. (This challenging aspect is exact Saturday at 8:44 pm EDT). Mars signifies the aggressive urge (and also rules the physical energy in the body); Pluto denotes the urge for power. There may be some issue that we feel very strongly about now that we don’t want to back off from, but in order to ultimately maintain a steady position of justifiable strength, we would be wise to transmute the aggressive urge into some layer of compromise. If we refuse to bend now, things could get volatile as this is a classic “war aspect.” The biggest battle, too, could be the one we face with ourselves stemming from thinking and behavior that is too obsessive (Pluto). It’s important to make sure we get enough rest now and not overdo physically.
Meanwhile, the Moon continues her unpredictable rendezvous in Aquarius. She eventually meets up with the white-robed Prophet Neptune (5:44 pm EDT) who fills her head with a goodly amount of mystical visions and illusions just in time for her miraculous descent into mantra-chanting Pisces (9:48 pm EDT).
“What does mysticism really mean? It means the way to attain knowledge. It’s close to philosophy, except in philosophy you go horizontally while in mysticism you go vertically.” Elie Wiesel.
Memorable even in history on this date: April 9, 2005 – Prince Charles of Wales married Camilla Parker Bowles in a civil ceremony at Guildhall, Windsor.
In their wedding chart that day (wedding time unknown) the planet Venus, ruling love and marriage, was in impetuous Aries in a square (tense) aspect to restrictive Saturn in Cancer. Venus in Aries longs to be spontaneous and adventurous in the expression of her romantic feelings but joined with sobering Saturn, she is obligated to curtail that fervor out of a sense of duty and responsibility to familial considerations (Cancer), which in this case would be feeling (no doubt) the need to dutifully uphold the rigorous protocol enveloping the Royal Family. Additionally, the pair may feel “cut-off” or “distanced” from the people of their homeland (Saturn in Cancer).
On a brighter note, Venus is also trine (harmonious) to regenerating Pluto in philosophical Sagittarius indicating a powerful component of emotional and physical attraction to each other, as well as mutually feeling that the relationship was “fated” or “meant to be.” Venus-Pluto often brings us our soul mates. This alignment here also suggests that their “higher beliefs” (Sagittarius) would perennially help to serve as a transformational and or renewing influence for the union. Mars conjunct mystical Neptune trine Jupiter also gives yet another testament to a deep spiritual, idealistic connection between these two individuals.
(Wedding charts, too, always need to be viewed in conjunction with the two birth charts of the persons getting married in order to get a fuller understanding of all the energies involved. I just thought, for our purposes here, it would be fun to take a peek into the planets on the day they were wed.)
Peace and love, everyone. Enjoy your Friday!
(Also, love and blessings to Charles and Camilla on their 5th wedding anniversary.)
