Intellectual Mercury is in superior conjunction with the purposeful Sun in grounded Taurus today (5:41 pm), which, in particular, could provide us with some epiphanies or aha moments pertaining to those things represented by Taurus, such as our values, money, personal possessions, and basic physical needs. Since the superior conjunction acts like a Full Moon, we may also see some of our ideas or plans coming to fruition now that were seeded during the inferior conjunction of Mercury and the Sun in dreamy Pisces, which occurred back on February 25th, when Mercury was retrograde. (The superior conjunction occurs when Mercury and the Sun are about halfway between the previous and next retrograde cycle.)

Waxing Luna also exited meticulous Virgo for balancing Libra, early this morning (at 3:09 am), which is always positive for putting us in a more cooperative spirit as well as inspiring us to seek out justice and fairness.

On This Day in History: On May 4, 1979, Margaret Thatcher (born 10/13/25) becomes the first woman to be elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

(In the sky, that day, Mercury, Venus, and Mars were all conjunct in pioneering Aries and trine to idealistic Neptune in Sagittarius (the sign which rules politicians). This same trio of planets was also opposing transformational Pluto in equality-minded Libra.)
