“Individually we are one drop. Together we are an ocean.” Ryunosuke Satoro
“Cosmic Word of The Day”: Link
Definition: 1) one of the rings or separate pieces of which a chain is composed 2) anything serving to connect one part or thing with another
Origin: 1375-1425;
COSMIC WEATHER:
The Full Moon in Brotherly Love Aquarius (9:37 pm EDT) makes us aware of “self versus others” and also shows us how we are all linked together. A good time to focus on how we fit in and interact within the context of group settings. Are we happy with the group activities and associations we’re involved with or is it maybe time to cut some ties here? Also, we may want to reflect on how we can unselfishly serve others for the greater good.
Additionally, with the Full Moon occurring in Futuristic Aquarius we have a greater capacity and inclination now to “think outside the box.” We should be challenging ourselves to look at old problems in new ways for the next couple weeks. We are also more prone to having sudden breakthroughs.
Expansive Jupiter continues to square Intense Pluto, helping to obsessively and passionately fuel our personal ambitions, however, we may want to take a breather here for a couple days and lay low. This is because Nebulous Neptune is making very challenging aspects to both Mental Mercury and Initiator Mars, making navigation trickier and riskier.
Always with Neptune activated, there’s a strong possibility that we are not really being shown the full picture or pivotal information that we need to make wise decisions, is missing. Mercury’s entrance into logical-thinking Virgo on Tuesday helps to get us back on track here.
“Sometimes I’m confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn’t obvious.” Michael Stipe.
Okay, Michael! It sounds like you have been drinking the Neptunian Kool-aid.
This Date in History: On July 25, 1960 – The Woolworth Company’s lunch counter in Greensboro, NC, that was the location of a sit-in that sparked demonstrations by African-Americans across the southern United States, serves its first meal to a black customer.
That day, transiting Mars, which heralds new beginnings, was in Taurus, the sign showing what we value. Mars was exactly quinqunx (adjustment aspect) to Expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius, ruling philosophy and our moral outlook. Mars-Jupiter aspects often coincide with our needing to take bold, courageous stands on our beliefs.
