“If you cut a thing up, of course it will smell. Hence, nothing raises such an infernal stink at last, as human psychology.” – D. H. Lawrence.
We may have to “clear away some psychological debris” before we’re able to move forward this morning (EDT), as the serious Capricorn Moon conjuncts excavator Pluto. Pluto characteristically digs up our old emotional garbage as a way to ready us for self-renewal. The Pluto process is kind of like cleaning out the refrigerator, so we can fill ourselves up again with new contents. Since the sign of Capricorn is involved here, some of this purge process could be connected to the workplace. Power scenarios could also enter into the equation.
With Mercury and Venus in money-sign Taurus, we are also reminded that part of our perfunctory karma now is to master our money management issues. Perhaps we are spending too much and we need to work up a new budget that allows us to better live within our means. Or, maybe we can come up with some new ways to make money.
“Wealth may be an excellent thing, for it means power, and it means leisure, it means liberty.” James Russell Lowell.

Memorable event in history on this date: April 5, 1939 – Membership in Hitler Youth becomes obligatory in Germany. At the time, Taskmaster Saturn (known as the Lord of Karma) was in the sign of Aries (which rules military dictatorships). Saturn was also in a stressful relationship (quinqunx) to ego-denying Neptune in Virgo (the sign of service), indicating the mandatory quality of the membership. Neptune (at its darker expression) is associated with mental illness, paranoid behavior, delusions of grandeur. These unfortunate young people, with no voice in the matter, witnessed this sick Neptunian behavior, first-hand, as part of the Hitler regime. Interestingly, when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November of 1963, we also had Saturn in Aquarius (blocked progressive ideals) again stressful (square) to Neptune in Scorpio (disillusioning death by a madman). Saturn symbolically represents the structures that we have built up in our lives out of a need for safety and security. Sometimes when we have difficult Saturn-Neptune aspects, the structures that we have erected are dissolved or taken away from us in such a way that it is a real affront to our higher senses and consciousness, and we are temporarily psychologically dis-empowered as well as spiritually mystified by the event(s).
Peace and love, everyone. Enjoy your Monday!
